I don't need fast cash and I don't like ads that speak to me.

Hi.

It would be nice if the digipawn ad could be silenced. I don't want to be asked constantly if I need fast cash. It's really, really bad when you have your speakers turned up because you are listening to internet radio.

You assume that a forum like this would really understand how annoying these ads are. What's next? The flash ads that fill up for your screen and you have to spend 20 seconds playing find the little obscure X button?

Firefox users: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&id=10

Very Very useful, Never ever see ads on dnforum.com or any other website you visit, Just right click the ad and click "Adblock", Wildcard supported, It comes with no ads blocked, I quickly speeded up my browsing by blocking all ads i see, Recomended to fix this annoying problem

Thanks for the inspiration Paul! I have ff 1.5 beta on the mac and AdBlock isn't compatible yet.

BUT...for those of us who use Safari, there's Safari AdBlocker

Looks like I'm back :)

Hehe, it seems that by trying to increase their Ads revenue DNforum will actually decrease it because everyone is installing AdBlock extensions! LOL!

Good point, but I'm going to be fair about it -- I'll only block the ones which TALK at me. Everyone else gets my full attention :)

And the two blockers Paul and I are talking about let you block ads one-by-one, so they don't automatically turn everything off anyhow.

I don't really get that? If the effect is that everyone has installed an AdBlocker, how was that successful?

Actually I like how she pronounce the "domain names", is kinda sexy. Otherwise I can recommend admuncher.com

I have a much better solution, just click the ad over and over and over so hey have a huge ad bill and ZERO revenue. In fact I can write

In the meantime, I'm spending more time on DomainState.com and NamePros.com. They seem to have far more respect for their customers than the administrators of DNForum. Great job sending customers to the competition!
