I wonder if this happens often, just not noticed?
On the radio (streaming from a local station) they're playing a song (Sweet's "Fox on the Run") and they're playing it like they've sped it up - just slightly. The vocals are a few notes higher than they normally are and the drum beat is faster than normal.
I wonder if they played the song slightly faster to have it fit in the timeframe? I also wonder if this happens more often - I'm sure speeding it up to cut a few seconds off won't be noticed too much, though (but this time it was noticeable - and the rest of the show sounds normal).
