What happened, JuniperPark? Did you submit a price in reply and never heard anything back? After how long?

I have received such an email, but was from a different legit company listed in dnjournal.

I asked him to make offer and etc.... and they never replied.
I don't mind receiving such emails, but PLEASE REPLY yes or no, or at least, make an offer.

One thing that Dale is carelessly leaving out is that Ashley called him yesterday and apologized. He only spoke with her for a minute but felt obligated to tell her that there were other people mad at her but declined to mention who. Dale, grow up already, I've personally purchased several domain names from you in the past so please, please stop whining.

A so called "Purchase Manager" of a major Brokerage once offered me Ten Dollars for a domain which I would not sell for Ten Thousand .

Sedo told me they would list Aftermarket, com in their email that they send out but felt it wouldn't fetch over $10,000....

If the same person contacts me after different names, in a scripted or otherwise manner, then refuses to make a reasonable offer each time, I just ignore their emails after that or mark them as spam so they never reach my inbox in future. Its a pretty small niggle and I would probably find a more pressing problem to concern myself with...

I got fed up with quoting prices and then never hearing anything back. I reckon they want absolute steals only. No problems with that however I do think its shoddy they don't get back to you when you go to the effort of quoting a price.

A simple "thanks for the offer but that's more than I would be willing to pay" would suffice.

I compare all of this to a dating sites where guys send form emails to women. Most of them are basically fishing around to see if they can get laid, hoping to get some response eventually. However, women have caught on to this and ignore most emails, including those from legitimate suitors.

The same is true with domain owners. A person who takes the time to personally write an email or engage a person will most likely appear as a serious buyer, and may actually come across a deal. What frustrates me the most is someone will not state a price that's within their budget or make any offer.
