All I can say is WOW!... I wonder if there are any other good "places" out there to invest in. I might have to dust of my world atlas later today...

WhereTheHeckIsMalta.com would have been a better investment.

Malta is a relatively popular holiday (vacation) destination in the UK.

Lovely name for an ASCII legacy domainer!

Yes, sorry chaps, half the globe in the relevant languages sold out 6 months ago.

Check on Google.com/trends. You will find that nearly all city search is done from within, so if English isn't the Lingua Franca, they aren't worth two bits!

Why is Italian a Seimetic Language as well? No, the Italians were kicked out years ago. The British adopted the Maltese spelling. Maltese is the only version of Arabic that has been standardised into Latin Script. Again like most Geographic locations all the search comes from within. How it is spelt in the US is of virtually no consequence.

I was amazed to find out on an italian airport that italians re-named "Munchen" aka Munich, to ..."Monaco" ...

As several people said, Malta is a country, prefered by many travelers.
A good price IMO.

Definitely a bargain, i think the seller needed cash quick. I do not believe that the Malta government can't come out with more than 250K.
