Yeah, I was not expecting them to put it up in less than 24 hours - they actually did it in less than 8 :-D So my pages are not done yet.

See it this way: over the course of 5 years the investment is minimal and it's also tax deductible as a business expense :-D

umm, might want to have them redo that logo before Rock Star sees it :worried:

Not worried - that's my avatar, not the logo. The logo - or a version thereof - is at http://radistar.com

For $50 bucks you can buy the script and start your own similiar page.

So now there's 2 sites selling supposed scripts used by MDHP (milliondollarpixelpage.com/buyscript.php). I wonder which one is faster. The one from milliondollarscript isn't exactly like MDHP. The blog is not integrated nicely nor are the other links since they have a new browser pop-up.

The whole concept is lame and unoriginal neo-pyramid scheme.

There were bunch of similar sites throughout last 10 years (people asking for tuition money, for travel money, for free-around-the-world accomodation etc.)

The only difference in this case is the interest showed by the bored and slow-comprehending English media who clearly thought (as obvious in their press reports) that this was some worldwide original idea coined by "one of their own" compatriots, and by the yooung bloggers yearning to write about something, anything on their boring blogs.

As a fellow compatriot, I have to say I am ashamed to say I couldn't agree more. The UK has a whole bunch of issues that need addressing, my pet subject is Mercury Amalgam poisoning. Where do the BBC stand when it comes to matters of real public interest?

Out of curiosity, does the millondollarhomepage.com change into a buggy web site?

I see a big advertisement there, and a few minutes or 1 hour ago i didnt saw.

Just making sure i am not in the wrong site.

Lol i was on the typo one, sight, silly me.

---

Now it's gone, that was weird...

It looks the most expensive pixels block comes from
http://www.engineseeker.com, the one saying F R E E! heh.

But the one that got my attention was the I AM RICH, YOU NOT ....

Damn Radistar, did that cost you 900 bucks :S. I believe was well investing...

192K so far...

http://www.dancingpaul.com/ I just found this one, not a pixel site, but interesting. Anyway I started a directory of Million pixel sites, and the responce has been interesting... I have a guy that is doing something with a new twist, and we are exchanging links when he is done. I don't want to reveal the twist till he is done, but it sounds like it would create a buzz too.

http://www.buy-me-a-beer.com

At least 2 years old.

lol, I never seen that site before. I am the one who made buybrianabeer.com. And sooner or later the gribblocks will be gone but Brian won't. We have been approach by a majotr Brewery to sponsor the site and use Brian in their next marketing campaign.

There is no such thing as an original idea. About 5 years ago there was a site selling floors in a pixel skyskraper. I am not sure what the URL is but there are a few version of it out there now. Forums copy forums, look how many adsense clones there are out there. Take adbrite for example. Which I like alot better then adsense on my sites.

What I did was use the pixel spin and MillionDollarHomePage.com reference in our press releases to attract > 600 uniques a day in less then 4 days with less then $100 spent on advertising. Brian in less then 4 days has turned into a brand. He has fans, and people who really want to know more about him. See, the site is not about a pixel grid. It is about Brian's Life.

52% of my visitors stay for more then 5 minutes and 25 of them return for more then one visit. Those are the stats I care about.

And also about generating traffic. The pixel grid is nothing more then a way to get additional buzz and traffic for Brian's site.

:)

The chap just broke 200 Gs. He's 1/5th of the way there already. Hard really to say how far he's going to get though. Things could fall off a cliff or they could go to the moon.
