$145,100 - verging on the insane... it's starting to get quite silly. $145k buys a lot of press.

I think it is beyond insane. You could buy 4 or 5 full page spreads in the Wall Street Journal for that amount! Or, at least 10 full page ads in other magazines.

$145k can actually still buy a very good quality domain if you know where to look! That's an asset that will advertise 24 hours a day for many years beyond the hype of MDHP. Slow and steady wins the race when building a lasting brand.

If they are serious bidders, that's unbelievable.

Amazing...

US $600,099.99
5 days 20 hours
WOWSERS! They could buy LOTS of domains for that price, and get better ROI then a 1000 pixel ad on a cluddered page!

I guess it is yamahamzui vs. dkeene777. I'd say dkeene777 wins.

How can $6,001,100.00 possibly be a real bid?
This is fake.

You could buy 3 or 4 Super Bowl Ads for that price....

Something doesn't smell right here.

Yep, there were some fake bids that got through somehow. Looks like the listing has been "cleaned" up now.

This is going to top out at $250k in my opinion.

how can they be fake? they have to provide a credit card over 15k and go thru the ID verify process to even bid, and then how do you know it's fake? what are they requiring bank/credit info on this one? lol

I would be suprised if the winner actually pays...this is getting stupid.

All I'm pointing out is the bids I posted above were there...and now they are not.

Somebody had to remove them. So, of course they were fake. Who would cancel out a 6 million dollar bid if it were real?

I agree, there probably is no fail-safe way to ensure that the winning bidder is legitimate and will pay. Should be interesting to watch though.

It's getting quite stupid. If I wanted ad exposure, I'd spend that on conventional media. Once it hit $5000 I thought it was OTT, but this is senseless now.
