just kidding. ;)

Fox News is the most popular news network in the USA. They have recently placed a permanent .mobi ad on the left hand corner of the screen. This advertisement is there 100% of the time and rotates between .COM and .MOBI

Turn on your TV anytime and the ad will be there. I challenge anyone to show me a larger TV station that constantly advertises a TLD other than .com or a popular country code.

That is important news.

As I said before, I am not a huge fan of mobi but feel it can be successful especially in niches which go well with mobile use and are strong keywords.

That's why I am deverloping about a dozen .mobi's even as we speak.

Recently got a lot more positive about mobi when seeing advertising and outdoor marketing signage promoting mibank.mobi.

Hmm...

Would you care to explain why I received an offer from Sedo on Friday for a .mobi?

And why I received one today for another .mobi?

Oh, just adding to the death scenario.

Now that it is dying or dead, every one wants in on it.

Nostalgia?

What was that one article? Mobi- We Hardly Knew You.

MizPee MizEry.

Yes, I remember it so well.

snicker

The two that I have received offers on; I have not decided if I even want to sell, send to auction, or counter.

I think I will counter.

How about .mobi DNs like:

Hiking, Gold Prospector, Time Traveler, Space Traveler - things that the mobi ads to the DNs function, meaning, perception?

For those few DNs, how would the .mobi stack up against like the .org or .info DNs perceived value wise?

Just curious since on the .mobi subject.

Stewie, please tell me, does this channel reaches many decision makers??

Thanks in advance for replying...

The 28% who still think George Bush and his government were the best ever are their main audience... take your cue from that.

And as to the assertion that one ad on one website is going to reverse the steep decline in the tiny hill mobi created for itself is rather laughable. Yep, every mobi domain is now going to rise in price and a buyer for flowers.mobi is just around the corner waiting to pay more than ever for it. Oh and let's not forget the millions of new visitors to all mobi domains that is surely just around the corner because of one ad...

it's more than just one ad though, I see .mobi more and more in use over time. as mobile internet grows, .mobi will grow with it. it's doing better than a lot of people thought when it launched. .mobi's still sell in the aftermarket on a regular basis. the mobile device is replacing a lot of PC activity, people love their mobiles, and this continues to be good for .mobi acceptance.
