This is very upsetting and needs to be addressed immediately. I see my names in my account listed as well. Someone should call Monte's cell if they have it. Take screenshots.

do you think Monte doesnt know it and some moniker tech people did it with out Monte's consent?
unlikely

DNJournal.com said:
“Marketplace Pro lets domainers and marketers, whether holding small or large portfolios, actively, find, buy, sell, and manage their online assets quickly, easily and safely,” Cahn said, adding that the site currently has more than three million domain names for sale.
Well, of course they have so many domains for sale if they automatically and without permission list their clients' domains on their marketplace.

His staff can't take a piss without him knowing it.

I just read on another forum that this was an internal mistake which is being resolved now.

I see mine too. How nice.
I suggest a different slogan for their home page: "You have arrived at Moniker.com, The Most Money-Driven Domain Name Registrar in the World!" :greenrazz:

According to Monte, this was a database load from all their domains to the marketplace. He also said that the domains were not listed for sale. They would only show as "for sale" within the user accounts.

Calm down folks...there was a global data base load in our market place pro system. Your domains do not have for sale signs on them. We are addressing the accounts that are not to be listed for sale. If you have an account with domains that you do not want in the MarketplacePro system, just email [email protected] with your account number.

It was a mistake in the loading of the database and will be fixed through out the day and tomorrow.

Not sure why Monte even has staff...I never get replies back until I write to Monte directly.

That TRAFFIC auction system was atrocious. First I had to transfer my names to Moniker (yes, paid for this service) and send my list by their excel form AND sign an Exclusive sales agreement. BUT>>>>>>

I never heard from anyone whether my names were up for auction or whatever. I did read here at DNF that some ppl said their names were not selected but I never even got a "Your application was received".

Had to wait to see the actually TRAFFIC auction queue to see that not one of my names made it to the list.

I even had an inquiry on one of my names and referred them to Moniker.

BUT...needless to say, after viewing names at silent auction, I was pretty furious.

I immediately contacted Monte for a new representative and so far, I have none.

I further said that I have to contact YOU cause your staff does not reply back (several times).

Yes, Moniker has to clean up its act. It cant be a one man show.

I believe the best option is to remove all names that are not suppose to be for sale, and if people want to sell a name, they email [email protected] instead. This way, I guarantee you wlil save you receiving and repling 10000 emails.

Shouldn't the default be: Not listed?

This is a lie.

I went to http://marketplacepro.moniker.com/index.html and did a search a while ago and found all the names by searching.

I made offers on several.

Now, they seem to be gone.

Wired - what on earth are you talking about? As anyone knows, we have a full staff and premium service and support. What emails were not addressed and when? Who did you write or speak to and on what topic?

no one was notified if their domains were selected for auction...we notify when the the sales processing is completed. 400+ domains sold in the traffic auctions and it was a huge success. If your domains did not meet the needs of the bidders in this event, they may at the next or in our marketplacepro system if you choose to have your domains listed.

We are removing all the domains in the moniker database from MPP and then allowing customers to reload them to fix the issue.

Thanks for your patience.

Take mine out too, please.

I'm a little disappointed. Even names on privacy protection show up in the marketplace.

Any non-domainer friendly attorneys out there could have a field day right now.

Monte we discussed this at length last week.

As far as meeting the criteria or needs of your bidders, I cannot speak to that.

I am expecting a new rep as promised. Then I can take up my issues I currently do have with my new rep and IF they get back to me.

The entire Moniker database will be removed from the system...it was not supposed to load when it loaded all the other domains submitted.

Should be completed by the end of the day.

Again, we appologize for the confusion.
