hi all.

well i found myself selling domain by mere chance.
im 37 - israeli - and own an advertising agency - and i often buy domains for my clients when they need
a temp domain for a campaign .
thus i found my self with a portfolio .
i have no clue if its worth anything at all.

where can i check it out ?
(except for estibot etc. which i find quite dubious -tbh .)

thanks

Welcome to the forum ;)
There's an appraisal section where you can post your domains.

Hi you!

Appraisals are largely meaningless. I remember Afternic back in the day (2000) when people appraised each others names and gave each other astronomical values. Made you feel good but that was it.

Offer them for sale and you'll quickly find out what they're worth!

Cheers.

hi Charles.
thanks for your replay.
i am sure you know what u r talking about .

which kinda comforts me - coz for example one of the domains i have .
is forexstocks.info
which is considered nothing right ?
but in my mind it very self explanatory -easy to remember - and even has the right tld for its purpose.

but i guess no one would give me even a reg fee for it - on certain circles.
i still think its very useful though
:)

Hi koderius. Most appraisal services are a waste of time. And quite a few are free so new domainers get wrong ideas on pricing.

A better estimate can be obtained from other domainers right here on dnf on the sections for that.

Welcome :)

Appraisals always carry uncertainty. What it can be sold for is not only determined by the domain itself, but for a substantial part by what the buyer thinks it is worth. And the buyers opinion in turn can be influenced by a skilled salesman.

The best way to find out what your domains are worth is to get experienced: read about historic sales, monitor sales platforms, talk to people, read and participate in DNF threads, buy some, try to sell some, etc.

welcome! Try the appraisal section here. Don't pay for an appraisal, since these are all worthless. The best gauge is to become aware of what similar names are fetching.
