Opencg you are just NOW smelling something?

I suggest you contact domainp for a refund (yeah right) instead of wasting time locating Attillio.

No he does "not" have to transfer it over to you because it is not proven who the original owner is or if he/she has been paid.

Recall: Who did you get the number from?

Why does this always lead back to the same person?

causing confusion? how about trying to purchase a domain when there is an ongoing situation?

The IP's maybe different, but these scammers are tied together somehow.

Jh3: It seems that you're a guy who'll always say the same words "i know and i'm sure". You can't look in the eyes of the arguments. Sorry guy, but I don't think that you're the one who knows. You're just a guy who has nothing to do.

domainp, you keep avoiding the question...did you ask the guy you bought from why/if he stopped payment when he bought it? That would sure clear things up...atillio and jh3 have not confused anything...only domainp can fix this and except for pointing a finger at atillio, he appears unconcerned.

JH3: sorry, but I don't want to discuss it with you. Please be more polite if you want it. I don't need floody messages like:
"you never owned ouch.com legally and you aren't legally allowed to sell it." You're just making additional bandwidth for the site owners.
winfreecash: i'm calling him now to figure out what happened

Who's on First?

Oh no...that's another routine - but the scenario is the same. I think everyone is making this overly complicated. As JH3 mentioned several posts back, stolen property is stolen property no matter how many hands it passes through. When stolen property is recovered it goes back to the original owner and all of the people whose hands it passed through are screwed (or in jail). Attilio is the only likely exception. When the property landed in his hands and he learned the ownership was in question, he did the right thing by holding it until the authorities come to claim it and return it to the rightful owner. He should continue to do what he is doing now - nothing. Some of the actions taken by other people involved in this situation are so stupid they defy belief.

There are many folks veiwing this thread and I don't think there is a single one who would have let an issue like this get this far before deciding to call the person they purchased from..if there is another I would love to know who you are!!!! I think I can safely assume that would be the FIRST call any one of us made if we were selling a domain somebody claimed was stolen by the person we acquired it from.

I think Attiio could be held responsible if he gave the domain to the wrong party. I think he has to hold it or risk being sued by the true owner...I'm not a lawyer, so maybe one can comment here about Attillio's legal responsibilities.

See that's your problem opencg, you understand yet you refuse to post that you do. This domain was stolen and you knew it was stolen yet you proceeded to make a fradulent purchase. There will be no justice for you I am afraid. Everyone here sees what's going on yet you choose to turn a blind eye????
