As many of you know, P&G has a major collection of hundreds of generics, mainly relating to their wide range of products.

Last year they were trying to transfer them across from NetSol to Register.com, but in the process someone goofed up and a nice batch was subsequently dropped by NetSol on November 8.

For those interested, I've included the NameWinner bids at the time that I know of, on the right-hand side (NW got only brightening.com)

badbreath.com
brightening.com $99 caught by NW
cookingoil.com (dropped a couple of weeks earlier)
fertility.com $10,501 bid at NW
headache.com $18,451 bid at NW
infertility.com $10,051 bid at NW
romantic.com $25,000 bid at NW
sensitive.com
sensual.com $4,556 bid at NW
tissues.com $3,645 bid at NW
toiletpaper.com $2,223 bid at NW

A year or so earlier P&G had listed romantic.com at GreatDomains for $1 million :eek:

What's in a name?
Some P&G-owned Internet domain names and their asking prices:
* beautiful.com: $3 million
* dry.com: $250,000
* flu.com: $1.4 million
* nails.com: $90,000
* romantic.com: $1.6 million
* scent.com: $150,000
* sensitive.com: $1 million
* sensual.com: $1.5 million

So in the space of a few nanoseconds less than a year ago, P&G lost domain names they had valued at many $ millions :eek: :eek:
