Now, I do agree maybe birdfly should have been a bit more flexible with Gil or maybe more "understanding" and maybe he was a bit short with him..but remember, not everybody is as cool as Focus or Maroulis when doing domain deals :eek:k:

Lesson learned here?

Post sold, send payment, get domain

Post sold, don't send payment, don't get domain

It's so easy a caveman could do it!

next time... we all should put crazy disclaimers (ex. "I have a right to sell to whoever I want") on the sale threads. DNF would turn into a jungle

The proper etiquette was to give the buyer some time to send the payment.

Let me ask a question, what was the FINAL price that was sold to Johnn? Was it higher than $2,200. That is the magic question!

Also.. where is Johnn? He has been quiet on this issue?

This is quite a good question. And not any hesitate to answer you.

After Tekz999 sent a PM told me that he do not want my domains, and told me that my domains are with questions.
So the deal with Tekz999 obviously and completely fell through.
And then I contacted with Johnn.
Below is the PM, you could find the FINAL price is still $2200.

Hi John,

The deals fell through,
Tekz999 ask me too many question, doubt at anything.
Could you send $2200 payment to XXXX's paypal account?
If you could, I can push the domains to you first to reassure you.

thanks.

I think there is a clear language barrier here, and it added a lot to this whole “misunderstanding”.

When any of us says that we "don't want domains with questions" we mean that we don't want to buy stolen domain names. When tekz999 said that, he didn't mean to say that he doesn't want these names. Non of us wants domain names with questions - not me, not you not Johnn, not tekz999.

I see seller continually using this phrase "don't want domains with questions" against the buyer, and I don't think he understands the meaning of the phrase, and the context when it was used. Before I thought that the guy coming up with excuses, but now it is clear for me that the seller doesn’t speak English enough to understand the meaning of the phrase used.
Just to put it into the right perspective for you I am giving an example here:
If the BirdFly will watch the movie “There is Something About Mary” he will hear the phrase “Are you xxking with me? a lot, which means “are you kidding me?” and used when people are trying to joke with you. In our particular case for BirdFly it will have a different meaning. I think this thread should be closed now, since it is impossible to determine if the problems came up due to bad merit or language related.

Ok, enough of this running in circles, everyone now has a viewpoint of their own based on all comments in the thread.

Ask all your questions before you post sold, not after.

Thread closed, please go back to domains.
