Now I know, but I don`t think that burger king has trademarked his mark in estonia? I haven`t seen any burger kings here? So If I would make a company called burger king in Estonia I could save the name?

I'm not a lawyer so I can't advise you on what you can get away with in Estonia. However, the .org registrar is well withing Burger King's reach so they can just start a UDRP action against you and take the name away.

Actually, I read the post from boychik and decided to run the whois to see who was taking these names off the lists and not sending the DNF$. Low and behold, the name was available, so I took it. Pays to double check. Doc

It looks like another name (besides the one I got) has been taken from Dax's list. It was vipclub.info

I know this is frustrating you guys that some people are not making compensation - but I think I know what is happening. We have a lot of unregistered "Guests" that visit the forum - and I can tell you that our "Recently Expired / Available Names" threads are one of the most popular places for those people to drift in & out. There is a board where I can watch the activity of the forum - and these threads are always populated with "Guests".

I know what you guys are going to say next - but don't bother. (It's just not possible right now.) For the moment we will just have to publicly encourage these people to sign up - and become members of the community.

Everybody is welcome here. Come on in. Take your shoes off. Register and stay a while.
