Relaxation of 1 link in signature rule

I notice more and more folks are putting more than one link in their signature, and they all look really good, and are kept to 4 lines or less.

Thus, can the rule of only 1 link be relaxed/eliminated:

"Your forum signature may not exceed 4 lines in length, and may contain no more than one link. "

If HTML was allowed, we could serve up signatures in Flash! :) (seen on some forums)

many problems occur with allowing html - if people dont close their tags correctly the whole shape of that page can be distrupted - aint worth the hassle

Ho hum....

Need I remind y'all that back in May/June when images were allowed in sigs, some people got pissed because of my choice of semi-clad ladies

That led to further arguments and my heated departure at that time.

I say we stick to simple sigs with maybe 2 HTML links.
Personally I don't use email links because of email address harvesting.
