Side note - take a look at 1plus.net - a new way of parking domains. I just moved a few in to test it. Keeping 100% of your adsense or other ad program money is VERY appealing. And it sure opens your eyes to how much the parking companies are keeping for themselves.

Those are NameDrive pages there at Plus1.net... so the concept is to sign up under an affiliate account to NameDrive? That explains why there is no cost for parking frrom plus1 anyway.

Are you sure?

I thought (from what I read on NP) people use 1plus.net system with their own adsense and affiliate codes. 1Plus.net rotates there ad-banner on your names 10% of the time.

If you know something different, please let us know.

Thanks.

Indeed - you plug in your own adsense, revenue pilot and even other affiliate codes of which you get 100%.

Im not sure, but I do know that the lander examples they gave are IDENTICAL to Name Drive...

Their first example is HERE

My InfoBam domain, parked at ND is HERE

Do you see any difference?

Look further, the source code is exactly the same as well.

I'm saying it LOOKS like ND, reads like ND, smells like ND... but no, I don't KNOW.... that'w why I ask

:)

You do have a point. I looked at whois records for both domains, and look like 1plus.net is testing NameDrive with their domain i-designs.net

Both domains have excat same DNS i.e. fastpark

NameDrive has indeed invested in quality landing page development, whereas Sedo has invested in PR and parties in Cologne.

Ehm.. the parties were held in Maastricht. Though I hardly think the reason for yo-yo earnings is there because DS throws 10x more expensive parties and several times per year and manages somewhat to sustain the RPM level for their publishers.

Even their BLOG pages are ND pages.

So what's the story... are they using ND or did they steal the template? Or are they actually ND? Or are they just plain mispresenting what they are/can offer?

It's a pretty wide open question.

I have seen their pages and they do not look like ND pages.

I think they have just parked one of their domains at ND for some reason....may be to benchmark ND and take some clues to 1plus?

They have pages other than their examples?

Why don't they post THOSE then?

It's all very confusing and potentially detrimental to their pitch.

I signed up, but now, after seeing what their samples and hearing what they are proposing, I've opted NOT to park any of my domains there even to test... just something about it doesn't seem right to me.

Just my .02 cents worth.

I've parked four domains there - all .ca's and have seen .40 cent and up adsense clicks. Seems alright to me!

onlinestock.ca - doesn't look anything like an ND template to me.

On another note, this weekend my portfolio had the highest combined revenue so far this year. Some oddly high PPC for low traffic domains; the usual problem with high traffic domains remains - low PPC.

My stats are looking weird today. You think it is the same issue that happened the other day?

Theo, you have been complaining about Sedo for ages.

Why do you stay with them?

I'm not going to expand on this once more; if you followed my threads long enough you'll know why.

But basically, with 3 years of stats on my portfolio it's extremely painful having to pack up and leave.

Oh, by the way PPC is back to basics again, 50% that of the weekend.
