As I said, I get offers for premium LLLL .com domains all the time. They come from clueless Chinese "investors" hoping to pay $300 for 20 year old .com domains without XYZQ.

i dont think this trend is going to collapse anytime soon.

These short domains are mostly acronym of chinese words/phrases and there are many so combinations of chinese words. It is meaningless in english but could have hundreds of meaning of chinese phrases with just that individual domain.

Most likely these perceive junk domains will not come back into the "west" side of the aftermarket, it would probably be circulating within the chinese aftermarket for very long time.

If every new online chinese entrepreneur decides to own just 1 domain for their online store or website, imagine how big is the market.

4L.com domains is useless (99% of them not have TM's, no companies with such acronyms etc)
No traffic etc..

3 recent sales

OMKG -300
ZKOQ - 200
MVQV - 200

ZKOQ I had for about 24 hours, and I had paid 58 for the name. Not a bad flip.

You can still get 50-100 dollar LLLL.coms if you know where to look. It makes for quick money flipping.

there are some, but you can only find one by one and it's getting increasingly difficult, will be gone soon as minimums cross 200

Makes me wish I held onto some LLLL.com domains and LLL.us domains I had - but this just shows it's not a short term investment, more long term (unless you are savvy and/or lucky)

Does anyone feel that this may repeat itself with LLLL .net and LLLL .org?
Will we see an increase in these secondary TLDs when all the coms are scooped up?

Any predictions on that?
