someone had asked before wether any of the hand reg's get traffic.
well i hand regged schoolclosures and roadclosures in the summer. both get traffic but the last couple days its been much better.

half day yesterday at fabulous 254 impressions 132 uniques for just schoolclosures. (thank you snow)

and im getting traffic to alot of my recent hand reg's as well, weatherservices, etc.
still money to be made.

Good to hear others are having success with fresh registrations. With the OVT death final I'm glad I kept such an extensive excel list.

And for those that didn't catch the email or hear it elsewhere - Sibername.com is taking .ca domains into consideration for inclusion in their auctions. Better still they are combining it with their tbr auction!

do you have to transfer your names to sibername to put them into the auction?

kind of inconvenient if you do, but it's a good first step.

Curious what everyone thinks of Sibername's new TBR format. For some, the anti-sniping and proxy bidding features could be a good or bad thing...

After meeting with DropWizard today and with no luck in the tbr I fresh registered 40 .ca's.

A few:
rebuiltengine.ca
publicgolfcourse.ca
spam-filter.ca - i normally don't buy hyphens but with 1.2m ovt...
websitedomain.ca
mobilebrowser.ca

It's getting tougher to find domains worth registering.

nice regs, were those the best of the 40?

thanks - and I'm not telling! ;) Some I may buy the plural for yet and i didn't list any adult which accounted for a few.

Seeing lots of new registrant names (some more than once) on lots of domains I searched for today. Have to wonder - are more people diving in or was it just chance?

More people are getting involved and yes, it is harder to find fresh registration that are worth it. My addition this week...Rums. Physical product and possible typo of rims

No more coffee for you it gives you too much energy:lol:

I picked up jehovah.ca today in the drop at pool. Nobody else bid on it:?::?:

I can't believe no one else wanted it.

Hey Everyone.

I've always found the whole thing of people buying tons of domains, and making money off them by either selling them or just putting ads on them. Never really fully understood how to do it all, and never tried. But I find it interesting from reading this topic how there are still possibly a few good .ca domains out there.

Do you just randomly search for domains that you think sound generic, or random, that people might possibly type in and go to?

Any info, or help, or anything on the whole concept of just registering random generic .ca's would be great to read. Been finding it fascinating reading pages of this topic.

Also, I registered a couple .ca's, one I did awhile ago because I wanted to build a site for it, and another just a little bit ago because I am thinking of making a site for it.
Anyway, are they good .ca domains?
