I thought I was following your train? This whole thread seems to have gone off topic... shall we start again fellas?
:nono:
You're more than welcome my friend. I'm suffering from a lack of inspiration today... nearly found myself registering an .eu things got so bad... ound:I thought I was following your train?
:greeneek: Oh that is the n70, :tape:.Joe, what on earth are you talking about in relation to my post, having quoted me? That link has nothing to do with the E61 browser. And do I "want to see that in action?" -- no, because I have the E61, and that link is totally irrelevant to my comments.
so whats the deal on .tel?
I don't know if this has been said already in this thread but here goes. I don't like .mobi for another reason in addition to some of those stated earlier by others. I wonder why they chose to make it .mobi instead of .mo, .mb, .m, etc.... something with a shorter extension. (those may already be used for another cctld) Afterall, if .mobi is aimed at the mobile devices, "typing" in letters takes a little longer on such devices than a keyboard for most people. So it would make sense to keep the extension short... instead, it is one of the longest domain extensions out there.
Another thing. It surprises me to scan over some of the .mobi names that people are trying to sell, some that are 15-20 letters long. To me it makes no sense to have a long domain name and expect to do well on a mobile device for all of the "typing" involved to enter such a name. Surfing on a mobile device is supposed to be convenient, but it won't be if you are typing in a book to get somewhere on the internet.
Just my opinions. Have a good day,
GrainFarmer
