Do you think all premium LLL.com are a good investment?

Will they achieve 20% growth per year in the coming years?

All premium letters sell for $20K now, when do you think they
will hit $50K average price?

I think they will continue to increase in value. But the 'bad' combos will increase at a slower pace.

I think reasonable LLL.com will increase in value over time.

I think the good will keep rising and the not so good will still be somewhat valuable.

More and more LLL.com's are developed by end-users, which means that less LLL.com's go back on the aftermarket. They should only keep increasing in value and I believe it's the best possible domain investment you can make.

People seem to forget this is the holiday season, prospects look very good as soon as the people get back to work next month :)

Let's just say that; if you haven't purchased anything the last 2 months, you will feel bad when the market is back on it's feet in a couple of weeks (after the holidays etc.)

We've seen some crazy deals the last few weeks. Quality dictionary .COM selling for less than $10k. Triple premium LLL.com's for $10k-$12k. All premium CVCV.com's for lo $1,xxx etc.

I think it's just as much fun to buy domains as it is to sell them. :)

The trend has been up in leaps and bounds. No need to sell now unless you need the cash. It's like a steady commodity. Yes, better letters appreciate faster, however not all "bad" letters are bad to some. TJD.com was sold for about $12k to Mr. TJ Demas :D despite "J" being a not so good letter.

The lowest I ever paid for a LLL .com was about $157 :D That was back in the days of market confusion!

20% or less - I do not know but they are still one of the best investment you can make in today economy.

Carter, I've done my own share of mistakes. Bought it on eBay (either in 2002 or 2003) and resold it a week later, listing it without a reserve. It went for $250 :eek::eek:

the best way to chart growth, is to examine the pattern of increases from the past.

though as "pcproffenno" touched on...

"the supply will decrease, as the remaining inventory of LLL.com's are consumed by end-users"

this will undoubtly make them more valuable until a peak level is reached.

this peak will result in a stagnation in price increases and sales.

at that point, the volume of exchanges will be comparable to the current exchanges of LL.com now.

imo...

I also noticed in the past few months more and more legal troubles for LLL.com owners. It has to be taken into account since udrp panelists are *weird* sometimes ;)

This uncertainty factor + the current economic climate are bad for business/ investments, so do not expect too much miracles with LLL.com this year (to say the least)...
Ps : I would be happy to be wrong :)

I agree, I think we will "run out" of good quality LLL.com in the next few
years, which means a price hike.

at some point, i think the registrars will stop releasing any that expire or just offer at fixed retail price.

they potential for end-user money will be too tempting to continue the practice as is.

imo...
