Hello all. I started a poll in another DN forum awhile back with this same question and i received some interesting results.

So I ask you:

Like many domainers I've sacrificed time. Which breaks down to time with my wife, time with my kids, time that I could have been doing something more productive. I've sacrificed money in the beginning, but thankfully I've made it all back.

Agreed. I've lost all those too:

Sleep!
Time
Money
Health

Hell, probably even relationships..

But is it all worth it? HELL YEAH!

Time. Money. Sanity.

Being heavily involved in IT over the past 11+ years, you can imagine the little time I had to begin with... I live, piss, eat, breath IT, domaining is just another facet.

It all comes back full circle.

All prior entertainment dollars. Every spare penny gets pumped back into the business. 42 bucks for a ticket to something? Or six hand regs? Sadly, it's not even a decision anymore. Domaining is a disease. Thankfully, a portion of my parking money goes to beer, or else that would be deep-sixed. And we just can't have that.

I lost:
Sleep..Lots
Money
Friends
My prime teen years

Fortunately I would actually rather go to a concert or get drunk with friends than buy a domain, Things have changed over the past year, I mean while domaining, it seems i had no social life or girlfriends, i slow down domaining and they both come, I would much rather enjoy my life how it is than a screen anyday.
