What's the point of this Platinum only section?

It's very nice to have our own section, but I'm unclear as to the purpose of it. Are we allowed to sell names here? Is it just for general discussion? Is there any advantage excluding other members of the domain name community?

I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

It is like a skybox at a sporting event. Free food and booze and warm and cozy when it's freezing outside.

Also what ever you post here is not visible to the rest of the world. You can talk about someone and they won't even know it.

You have a select group of people with at least some commitment to the domain industry to communicate with, without too much riff raff noise.

It is mostly to keep the riff-raff out - however I have found an unguarded side entrance and still manage to slip in every once in awhile. It is fun to rub elbows with the big shots until Namepopper catches me and throws me out again....oops, here he comes now - see you next time!
