take everything out in your browser including the "http://" and put in the following:

alkjfljsdfdlj.biz

or

misspells such as: jugggle.biz or Hottels.biz

Each time you do it, you get redirected to a "sponsored" page.

Interesting.

Hell you can mispell any .biz name and get redirected with or without the "http"///

NEULEVEL: Let us know if this is something authorized or isn't. Is this a virus off the internet that is affecting .biz names?

I just mistyped my Canoe.biz site (Cannoe.biz) and was redirected to this page:

http://www.lookingyourbest.com/

WARNING: Breasts shown on website, a fricken breast augmentation page.

NEULEVEL: Again... please let us know, what the deal is. Is this a virus off the internet?

O.k... Now I'm being redirected to porn when I mistype a name.

I mistyped one of my .biz names and was redirected to a porn site: bignaturals.com

So can I be sued if someone mistypes my .biz name and they get redirected to porn??

NEULEVEL: Please let us know what the deal is if this is a virus or something off the internet that is redirecting mistyped .biz sites??

Before I write Neulevel is this happening to everyone else? Did I pick something up in my browser that shouldn't be there??

Let me just preface this. It might not be Neulevel. We are all domainers here. It could have been something we picked up along one of the domain sites we visit.

I don't think so, pod. The computer I am using now is fully decked against weasels like this.

It could be their systems may have been hacked in.

Looks like they are using some sort of rotator to send any unused .biz typeins to a ppc....??

The page is going to 157.22.32.235 where it is redirected to abcsearch.com...and then on to a random site.

Sex.com is somehow involved in this redirection grrrr... I doubt Neulevel would stoop so low to bastardise their namespace with porn operators. Neulevel has been hacked before, so its not an impossibility that this could have happened again.

Neustar, BUCK UP your security!

Let's just hope nothing happens to the whois records. whobiz.biz is still dead as a doornail.

It appears the problem has been fixed. I hope Neulevel tracks down who did it, but I definitely saw .sex.com in the redirect URL
