Here are the actual sales as there were some after auction sales conducted outside the room. The rest of the domains along with the other 3500 names will be in the Silent Auction. Go to http://www.moniker.com/silentauction/index.jsp to get signed up. The silent auction goes through noon March 14, 2007 PST. More than 100 domains that we did not have time to get to are now in the silent auction along with the 78 we passed on.

Just some very strong and interesting stats - 155 out of 233 names sold - 67% of names sold. That is more than 2X the percentage we have been averaging. .mobi, .net, .ag, .org., info, .tv, ect. all had good representation and sales. This is a result of better selection processes and more experience we gain at each event. $4.3M in domains have sold thus far and my guess is that another $1M will go in the silent auction.

WHAT: Remote Auction Access provides qualified active bidders the opportunity to participate in the Live and Silent Auctions at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West in Las Vegas, March 5-8, 2007. This access gives you the opportunity to submit an Absentee Bid Form or participate in Proxy Bidding for the Live Auction, as well as bid directly online in the Silent Auction.

WHERE: The T.R.A.F.F.I.C. WEST Conference held at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, March 5-8th.

WHEN: The Live Domain Auction will take place at 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. PST. The Silent Auction opens March 6, and runs through noon on March 14, 2007.

WHO: This is a closed auction. Only attendees of T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West and non-attendees who complete the steps below can view domains and place bids in the auction.

FEE: Get bid access – including Absentee Bidding, Proxy Bidding and direct access to the online Silent Auction – for only $499 USD – that’s less than half the cost of attending the conference, not to mention travel and lodging expenses. This fee is not refundable, but will apply to the purchase of a domain name at the Live and/or Silent auction only.

HOW TO: To sign up for this exclusive access, you must have a Moniker Asset Management Account and pay the $499 USD fee. You will then receive the exclusive conference password that gives you access to all the information and bidding in both the Live and Silent Domain Auctions. This access also allows you to submit an Absentee Bid Form for the Live Auction.

Agreed, this would be nice... If not now, then perhaps a next time around? Right now the suspense is unbearable!

I'm sure the objection to allowing we domain owners to see our Silents in action is the probability of abuse and insider information playing a part and having an effect on the pricing.

In other words, I wouldn't count on it.

Too bad. We had access to view the status for our silent domains for Internext without paying a fee.

There is no reason to restrict sellers other than the fact that this system was not built with an observe only access option. We will certainly consider this in the future.

With that said, the real action does not get going until the last day usually and even in the last few hours of the last day. People do not like to show their cards early. There is over $100K in active bids thus far which is far greater than any of the previous silent auctions this early in the event...so this looks to be a good sign from where I am typing
