zero ;)

min number of character 3
and you cannot have 3 numbers , or 4, there has to be a letter in with them etc.
a nuts decision imho

I think the poster is asking how many telephone numbers can be stored under a single .TEL domain in the data records.

Not sure the maximum data records/numbers/web links that you can list under a particular .TEL, but no straight numbers are currently allowed the actual .TEL domain name like PRED said above.

Thought that is what you were asking.

You might want to go to telnic.org to help find your answer, and look under the "Developer" area, as they have a forum, .TEL tools, a FAQ, and much more. You might even get a reply from one of their developers as to the maximum number of telephone entries or other data that can be stored in a single .TEL domain.

Let us know if you find out, please...

The mere fact that these actions cee mentioned are technically possible proves that .tel is the first TLD ever to go live while in beta.

Well, it looks like the number of .tel domains indexed by Google has climbed since yesterday, but the deletion rate at Dynadot continues to increase.
.

Is the rate climbing because they are completely unable to actually make them active? Two of mine still say pending create after three full days - aka - useless domains. :uhoh:

No, a lot were being tasted.

The 'pending create' is even more confusing when in fact they are registered. You need to log into the CTH panel and enter some contact info.

anyone know if .tel are resellable as my registrar has no grace period. Have kpu.tel. Think its possible to sell to kwantlan p university or kpu telecommunications or it would cause more trouble than its worth?

kwantlen is a community college - they don't have extra money for that kind of thing.

I did three days ago. Only one of three I bought were even added to the telhosting account... :upset: The one that was still doesn't resolve either.

But that's the thing - I can access it already in my telhosting account.

As for the state - dynadot just keeps saying "status should change soon".

.useless

Heck even a .mobi can be used immediately after being registered! LOL
Go mobi!

I have had no problems with .TEL domains I have registered through either Dynadot and Moniker. I logged into the CTH control panel and all my domains were there (about 5 for each registrar account, for about 10 total .TEL domains). I have 2 different CTH accounts, 1 for each registrar.

I add contact info and it usually takes up to 12 hours to switch from PendingCreate to OK status in the WHOIS, and for the names to Resolve on the Net. Sometimes there is a lag in the updated info showing up in my .TEL domains that I add or change being posted, sometimes not. I guess it depends on if they are doing back end work on the .TEL system. Since .TEL domains are not intended to have the contact info/data changed that often, this is acceptable. I am not expecting instantaneous data updates from .TEL.
