I know the Bido team is legit, well known, respected and honest domainers but I must say I disagree with not being able to opt-out unless you are able to first login. I think you should be able to opt-out regardless of you being a logged in member or not.
Plus even if you are a member, and manage to successfully login and opt-out of emails it still fails and the emails continue anyway. Been there and done that recently. Later tried again but could not login due to usrname/paswrd issue.
Bido could get in trouble or sued under anti-spam grounds for not having a mailing list opt-out feature (which also functions) as required by law - as far as I know.
The main reason I wanted to opt-out is their emails are far too frequent plus I have recently decided to stop buying many domains (I mostly hand reg these days) and never liked too or was inclined to buy names at auction anyway, from Bido, Afternic, Sedo or anyone else for that matter. During the years I was a Bido member I purchased just one name for only low xx.
