I will have to travel from the US and I am concerned re: If I buy the airline tix and the event is cancelled due to less than 50 ppl interested, I cannot get a refund on the tix.

Ok guys, as I can see many of the people that was on the confirmed list are backing off about the event, I suspected this since the begining, don't get me wrong but I need to say that I really learned a lesson about this on the forum, my thought is that you CANT trust people a lot expecially on forum where everyone can post what they want.

Again don't get me wrong but looking many people backing off on this and actually people that was the ones that started to organize this with me is very bad for me.

Also few post ago there was a post where the new owner (management) of DNF said that they will do whatewer they can to make this event a success, I wrote what was the "little" help I needed from them but as you can see NOTHING has been done, again am sorry but I learned a lesson.

I will also come to this forum less and less...... I'M upset?? NO......

I agree. They said theyll come for sure, so theres no excuse for them backing off now. Its pretty shamefull and tells a lot about their professionality. If they so easily eat their word, I only
wonder how safe it is to do business with them..

I'm not on your list of either "for sure" or "may be", so I have not been paying much attention to this event.

Adam (DotComGod) may be a bit busy with other stuff, so I just went ahead and made this thread a sticky on the Lounge forum while closing the other, older thread (with a link pointing here) in order to avoid confusion.
