I am almost tempted...
But at $35 a pop (or $70), it seems 'strange' for a ccTLD which might change governments overnight and decide that you dont own the domains you do...???
I am not saying that Sao Tome is not stable or anything, but its just that I have never heard of them, and I am good in geography... :-(

P.S.

edited because of a dumb spelling error...

I'd watch out for these Nic.ST folks!

1) Early this year I was gonna do a bulk purchase of .ST names. I emailed them about this and never heard back. Weird, it was gonna be a sale for them worth many thousands of Dollars.
2) Recently, I ordered one .ST name anyway, through their site. Their site gave an error while processing my order, and cited my creditcard was declined for one reason or another. Weird thing is, though, that the creditcard issuer states that they DID accept my c.card, and so I have now paid for a domain I never got (and is still available for registration on their site!).
Needless to say that Nic.ST does not respond to my emails about this. So now I'll have to send them a certified letter, etc. etc.

Oh they responded to me. Except when I purchased my domain I didn't get an email like they stated. However they are alive and well.

Thanks for your response.

I called my C.Card company again just now and it seems that Nic.ST DID make my payment 'undone'/did get me my money back, be it a while later. Phew.

Still, I think it's louse customer service not to reply to any emails I've sent them, earlier this year as well as recently.
