Are you what ? Genius ? Please read ! I do not find unprofessional they found this CC transaction to be suspicious ! I find unprofessional, they let the CC charge but 2 days later start to bothering me and threatening with deleting domains ! See the different ?

I am getting about $1M/y in CC payments. I would never do charge the card and than start bothering customer for additional document with a threat I do not send him goods. I would ask him for it BEFORE the charge. See the diffferent ? As I know you, probably not so I am wating my time anyway.

And are you kiding Fabulous is avoiding TM domains ? Their portfolio is full of it and they lost hundreds of domains in Wipo.

Denny I have no doubt that you feel that you think they are unprofessional.. I however disagree with you.. what your are describing about the credit card is common practice. it can take one transaction or even 4 before it is flagged to the fraud team.. This is not Fabulous.. this is there Merchant Bank thats asking questions.

You are lucky that you never have had to ask a customer for identification.. When I was running our casino we had EVERY customer supply Passport and Proof of residence before we would pay out a penny.. its COMMON PRACTICE when members are from countries like Eastern Europe, Middle East and the Asia Pacifics.

If Fabulous own TM domains then that is there business and responsibility.. Some TMs are more of a liability than others. Companies like Google and Yahoo are going to start dropping its partners who profit in Trademark Names... Its not only Fabulous who have this policy... they all do.

I understand your frustration and concern, but from my dealings with Fabulous I have found them to be fair and professional.. We all have our own opinions and that is mine.

Common practice is to verify BEFORE CC is charged. Any transaction with EU credit card from Chinese IP is flagged in every system within a microsecond. So although its the Merchant bank asking, still is Fabulous deciding put the funds and domains into the account immediately. Because they get the flag immediately too.

Also they never asked for this politely. They was giving ORDERS. Again - in my business, if I need to bother customer, I handle them like "I am very sorry, but it is the bank, please I need to verify...once more very sorry, hope you will stay with us...". Because customer is god for me. Either he buys $20 or $20K, still god (manye $20 customers became $xK customers later).

Although I am from Eastern Europe, my country is now member of EU. Although I earn at least 20 times more than average Fabulous employe, yet they handled me like some rubbish not worth them.

You found them professional, because you are from country they consider to be "better" than the "rubbish" countries.

Fabulous SUCKS, they also termed my account for NO REASON and also kept about $300 in due payments from poker typos..also after contacting several of the sites the revenue was earned from I found that it had NOT been credited back to them as was told to me in an email by fabulous, in fact they rarely if ever credit advertisers back - they just keep your earnings...they are scum and we all know it..wait till it happens to you then you won't feel so high and mighty with crapulous! :(

If something like this happened to me and you've got evidence, I would take them to court. You might even be able to do this in small claims court. Taking your money & not returning it to advertisers, while they claim they are, is theft. You would be doing a lot of people a favor, at least they would be careful about doing this again.

Moreover, if this is common practice you could probably do a class action suit, which would certify that they would never do it again.

Just my suggestion.

While that may be your *perception* ... it is not true across all credit card processors ...

I routinely get an email message from my credit card processor's fraud department 1-3 days after the order has been placed recommending that I veryify the details ... and when I receive that warning, I verify with my customer their details to my satisfaction ... because the risk is 100% mine for the loss on a fraudulent order plus additional transactional costs, fines, and penalties ...

In my case ... I verify the telephone number attached to the credit card, verify that the telephone number matches the address of the card ... if both of those are true, I usually don't bother my customer ... if either of those are off, I call the credit card customer's phone number directly if possible ...

And to the best of my knowledge, I have never had a customer complain about the fact that I called to validate the details and validate that they actually placed the order ...

So while you look at it from the persepctive that they inconvenienced you ... in fact ... their actions actually also protect you ...

And if you don't want anyone to protect your interests ... then by all means <grin> ... post your credit card details, phone numbers and addresses ... I am sure there are businesses that wouldn't take the time to check <grin> ... however, I will always protect both your interests and mine ...

Does Fabulous care to comment?

We do not close/ban accounts from our network without valid reason. Accounts may be closed because of fraudulent activity, or clients may be asked to remove their traffic as it fails to meet our quality standards. In the latter scenario, customers are given one weeks notice and will be paid for earnings up until this date.

We will not be drawn into discussions on a public forum regarding individual accounts as this could limit the ability of the domain portfolio owner to renegotiate monetization deals with other providers.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these decisions, please feel free to contact me directly and I will be happy to address any issues you may have.

Kind regards,

Michael Robertson

So if it was fraud I could ask customer to kindly return me the goods. "Smart" move...

Try to ask them for faxedpermission to charge their card, passport copy, credit card copy. Also they need to answer your quesitons like why their card is issued in Texas and they paid from New York, why they sign their email "Have a nice day--Joe" while their name is Joseph and more questions like that, and maybe they WILL mind. I stated correct telephone number and address, but they did not just call, they asked for all those plus more !

I OF COURSE DID SO ! Address, phone number, all was CORRECT and working.

It seems you have little of a clue of their business plan. I suggest you read their mission statements etc.
Well, that must be hell of a plan to register and than offer for $500 domains like "TemperatureControlledPackaging.com " - they have hundreds of thousands domains like this, 3-4 word combination OVT WITHOUT extension 50~300. Everybody could take 1-2 mils and register a lot of such crappy domains too. And than claim "I am the top 5 biggest domain owner in the world".

Oh boy, if there is hell for liers, you'll end-up there. You cancelled my parking in one second for reason "because they potentially infringe upon registered trademarks".

When I logically opposed, that all those domains has been added by Fabulous person, therefore reviewed, because it was 4.0 premium parking, you changed to "it was 30 days trial.....I don't feel that [the domains] meets our minimum requirements".

So at least 2 lies (I could probably find more if I read emails from Fabulous carefully) - no 1 week notice but immediate (I bet you will find somewhere in TOS, that this 1 week notice is not valid for "trial accounts") and lie in reasoning.

I am quite confident even the second reason was artificial, as during my research of domains I find so many incredible shit parked @ Fabulous, I have to laugh. I will start to post the most blatant TM infrigment domains parked and owned by Fabulous so you will have to eat your words again and again. I do not like hypocrites and big-heads.

well...

apart form Denny's trouble, i *find* that Fabulous is a proffesional company.

For some reason, i think that Fabulous is the best among all parking provider companies. I just feel that way.. I donknow why.

And for Denny, try to talk things out with the Fab rep (Mike?)

They did what they did...

You felt what you felt...

I am not trying to side anyone here. :)

Peace peace....

This is an interesting thread, every person has different ideas on professionalism and what is right, and it's difficult to statisfy every customer's wants and needs, but it seems to me that Mike from Fabulous is pretty wiling to discuss and settle your issue.

I also find it funny that denny007 is "yelling and screaming" about this, but WhoDatDog started the thread, but both of you are taking it to the extreme a little.

Ok, mr. fabulous...you have 3 days to admit you did not return my funds attached to the account using the email "removed" to the advertisers, nor did you pay me for funds earned to that date..I have every email correspondence from the loser account manager I had, mr robertson and I was suspended and then TERMED without signifigant reason in a matter of minutes WITHOUT any warnings or weeks time, etc...my next step is to take screenshots of every email from your company and my account "misrepresentative" so that everyone can see you are full of sh*t..go into my account attached to my email address "removed" you will see that I was NOT paid what was due to me and got nothing but rude uncaring responses afterwards from your company and did not even have a chance to rectify any situations..if this is done then I won't go out of my way to publicly prove your fraud and embarass your so called company that imo sucks on customer service very BADLY, sure you can pay more than every one else when you terminate accounts randomly and keep peoples money...ohh and WHY was my account suspended? "Poor quality of traffic" [it was a few REAL clicks we are talking about here from some of my well known good poker typos] I guess that means they did'nt sign up for a poker account huh? lmao...who are you to decide whats good or not? It obviously was real traffic and the reason for my account being termed was that I had a text link to one of my generic poker domains on one of my others sites! Thats my perogative dude! What is wrong with you guys? Don't you realize eventually word will spread and you won't have any traffic to steal money from anymore.. %+|

Chris

ps- I had almost forgot about this and thought it was just me, but seeing this is happening to several people FREQUENTLY..now I'm gonna pursue this till the end...you guys that know me from past experience know it won't end until either we are in court or this is fixed, etc.

Reply to your accusatory PM!
And little Mr. Mikey...I told you that the previous owner must have has some residual paid traffic coming to that one domain, I dont think paid traffic sites give you 1 or 2 visitors a day for a day or two! And they did not account for any clicks either! Just a reason for you to keep my money..it's ok..keep it up dude..legal action is coming for fabulous..and I was never given a chance to unredirect one domain that was at ANOTHER forgotten registrar than the poker domain was at and I had forgot was pointing to it...AND which accounted for maybe 5 visitors! yeah real good reason to terminate someones account! And any links I had up from my other site had always been up and I did not know that was a problem since it was still REAL traffic..and they could only go to the poker site if they clicked on it to do so..again..you never gave me a chance to fix this..just banned my account..AND you did not refund the advertisers accounts or pay me for my very real traffic and clicks...which was ALL of the revenue I had earned cause I had great poker names! The FEW autohits visitors were probably bots or something and were not my doing, and they made ZERO clicks so what was the reason for banning my account in reality again and not BS? Why don't you tell us all...cause we know that banned account money goes in your pocket dude...just keep it real.

1.
It is not "funny" for me. For this remark hopefully you will [mod]comments removed[/mod]
2.
I am not the only "yelling and screaming" here, there are four of us here. If you do not like it, why you visit thread "Fabulous cheated me" at all ? What do you expect in this thread to be ?

3.
You call "extreme" posting facts about how Fabulous handle customers badly on Domain forum in thread "Fabulous cheated me" !? Do you know the meaning of the word "extreme" at all ?

I do NOT let bigheads from Fabulous [mod]expletive removed[/mod] me over and silently accept it. They think, their [mod]expletive removed[/mod] does not stink or what...

They won't be in business for as long as they would have been, if they had not decided to screw innocent domain owners over on their PPC revenues for silly reasons...Karma is a mofo...and I have a feeling this MR. MIKE ROBERTSON character might be the main person doing it..probably not even his real name..lol

You are weak dude, you said earlier in the post that people are given a weeks notice and also that they are paid their revenue...BOTH lies...you obviously need a few hundred bucks alot more than I do!...I'll be launching a big opinion site soon about your company with testimony from all the people you have cheated whose names I keep finding left and right, everyone knows this keeps happening and you are very unfair and unjust with terrible customer service (it's one thing to email someone right back - but it's IF YOU HELP thats what counts!), Then comes legal action in the form of a class action lawsuit and I dont care how much it costs cause we will all divide it amongst a hundred domainers with their PPC revenue earned from all the real honest PPC sites out there that actually pay their customers!..have it your way MATE!

You are'nt gonna BS us dude, we have a way of just cutting right thru it..
you must not be aware of the way things work here on OUR TURF

And I see the Robertson character is handling every customer sofar, even the forums - seems to me like Fabulous is pretending to be big player, while it looks more like one-man-show...

I would rather park my names at parkingsite.com ANY DAY!
We know we won't get cheated & our accounts closed for no reason!
