8 more days to go I guess.. (Have had no further contact with them since Peter asked me to log in and update my payment info) I assume it just goes into my paypal on the 10th. Which is probably the 9th over here.

Fabulous SUCKS, wait till it happens to you then you won't feel so high and mighty with crapulous! :(

Chris

LOL funny, crapulous.com is using DomainSponsor :-D

At some point these domains can overwhelm you. I feel best when most of my names are parked and categorized.....the switching back and forth chasing the highest dollar can be an endless goose-chase. There is value in having your names at a reasonable place and spending your time on the creative aspects of acquiring and selling exciting names. Hopping back and forth to different PPC places is like trading stocks every day.

Can we please BOLD this, put in in a sticky and make it the POST OF THE YEAR. I agree 101%

I too after months of fabulous PPC was told my account was suspended over 3 domains, 3 of 100's!!!! I was given no noticed just a 100% cut off. Funny I searched the traffic on them to find no real suspicious activity myself, only slightly higher clicks. On 3 of 100's, I thought to myself what the hell, take that revenue back and let me continue as I have been satisfied. Nope no can do, good bye! I was disheartened. And personally believe their over reacting for no reason several times over.

I never knew they gave warnings? If I did I would have protested. :(

I am a member since June 2005 of Fabulous.com

I have accounts at: Sedo, domainhop, Namedrive, goldkey, etc..

But, my fav. is Fabulous.com

- I never had any payments problems
- I never had any problem with my account manager
- I never had any registration problem
- Sometimes there is a stats problem but that gets solved in min.
- My domains get checked by my account manager. Incase there is a TM
issue or something like that he will inform me and I will change the DNS to
another program or a site.
- My account manager is always there to help me...
- Incase i have a urgent matter their support staff provides a response
in min.
- their control panel is very clear and easy to use
(except the 'Domain Valuation' system, that could use a update)

Overall Fabulous is my fav. PPC Company.
No matter what is written in this topic I would say:

"There are always 2 sides to the story"

What happened? What no posts here between 11-06-2005 and 11-30-2005. I didn't just spend 2 hours reading this 7 pages not to know what the final outcome to TTHosting problem. I don't see any retraction from TTLHosting or his posts deleted, so must not have been paid. Right?

Guess who owns fabuloussucks.com? :) Only recently too! :) Seems like they might have been anticipating something :)

Scamming Aussies

Give me a break ... they screw us just the same ..
+ a 10% local TAX on ALL transactions

They are definitely non-descriminating scammers.

I voted with my digi-feet ... gone elsewhere

Careful with the "Not me" line.
This isn't the first time you've used what your government calls 'profiling'.

Here's an example by you, from another thread.

> ...... cancelled my account with some false excuse. Aussies.

NO! ... NOT **Aussies** ... FABULOUS ... Get the difference ??
For all we know the Fabulous strings may be worked by their Euro-office.

Has the U.S. set the 'profiling' bar too high for you ???
Or do you believe offence stops at the U.S. coastline ?

I agree with what you say about Fabulous, but not the way you say it.

I am sure I could get them to higher it if you want. Actually I was thinking my post, but if it goes on past that then we need to take another look here.

I'll bet that companies like Fabulous.com, Domainsponsor.com Sedo.com etc would not suspend so many accounts if so many people were not;

  • clicking your own links
  • having others click your links
  • sending crap traffic
  • click bots
  • buying traffic from other PPC companies
  • email spam links
  • newsgroup spamming
  • or one of the many scam methods that crooks use

None of you guys or the many others om other boards that complain about this, would do such things, would you? Ever notice that often the quality of a person's portfolio has a direct bearing on the odds of this happening to them?

Personally, I wasn't doing any of them therefore they had no basis to ban my account. Funny you just registered. Must work for fabulous

Wow, and you've been here since July 2004, that makes you what? And no, I don't work for Fabulous or any other PPC company. Oh, of course you weren't doing anything wrong when you got your account suspended, it was just a misunderstanding I'm sure.

It is funny the posters on the many domain boards have people that were suspended by ALL the various PPC companies. The PPC companies must be collusion to grap one months earnings from innocent customers instead of making money from them month after month after month...Doesn't sound like good business to me, they all must either have to be real stupid, or a lot of scammers are getting caught.

I can only speak for myself, but one should not lose their account if their names do not convert into sales. PPC revenue is just that. It is the PPC company's job to take the traffic and convert them into sales. I buy names with traffic and park them. If they do not like the traffic they can ask that I remove the name from their services as it is not converting. I would gladly obligue with the request, but to cancel one's membership and revoke the funds earned is a different story.

I say a class-action lawsuit may be in the near future for some of these companies if they continue with their current business practices.
