I keep track of all my domain names with Epik. This includes external and internal domains.

I was wondering if Epik could add some type Financial Tracking of domains? Provided with a nice UI/UX.

Essentially I want to know exactly how much I'm spending and what my profit margins are. My portfolio size has outgrown using a spreadsheet. A few other registrars offer this but it doesn't work for large portfolios.

I'd like to input;

Priced Paid - Could be hand registration, auction win etc.
Renewal Cost - At outside registrars and at Epik it could be automatically recorded.
Sold Price - If and when the domain sells I want to record the domain sold for and where.

Epik already has a lot of this data with services such as NameLiquidate, Epik Escrow, and so on. So it seems ideal to make a Financial Tracker.

What do others think?

It is definitely on the roadmap and a relatively easy feature to offer for free for both internal and external domains.

I will check who from design and engineering can engage that topic, likely starting with @dadan.

Good to know @robmonster.

I know you are incredible busy right now, so thanks for responding.

@dadan Happy to provide additiona input.

Thank you, @slickdots as @robmonster mentioned this is on our plans, we will work on creating concepts and wireframes and share them with techs and leadership for feedback.
One thing to consider is how to handle Dropped and Sold domains.

These are not active in a continue cost basis of a Domain Portfolio. However the gain or loss should still be recorded and accounted for.

Also you should be able to toggle seeing these in the search function. Visually I'm not sure the best way to do this.

I'm sure @dadan can figure something out. @robmonster @amplify

I saw this today.

Does this mean there has been progress on this? @Epik
