I found this by accident http://www.banneddomains.com

It seems as if the categories (not much content there) match these used by Yahoo's system: Adult, Alcohol, Guns etc.

I thought I would give an update on some of the domains mentioned here that I submitted back to yahoo.
avatars.com, applepicking.com and hamiltonoffices.com are all now clean.
acro.net is still too controversial for Yahoo. :)
hackysack.net is a trademark. miniburgers.net is clean.
buymyname.com was banned in 2007 according to Yahoo and they won't unban it.

I think that is all the ones I saw on here.

Donny, what is the situation with domains in spanish?

cancerdeboca.com (mouthcancer.com) banned
cancerdeovarios.com (ovarycancer.com as plural) banned > at least one friend of mine has this cancer.
clinicasdeadelgazamiento.com - (weightlossclinics.com) controversial
comidaparabebe.com (babyfood.com) trademark
desinflamatorios.com (anti-inflammatory.com but as plural) trademark
lipoaspiracion.com (liposuction.com) controversial
khammouan.com (weapons) > seriously?

On another front, clicks are getting cheaper and cheaper. By now, I was hoping to see a bottom. I guess not... And I do not know what arbitrage is.

Any comment is greatly appreciated.

Why keep messing with Yahoo feeds?

I have very good traffic and CTR with Bodis on foreign languages and IDN.

Foreign language and IDN also do well on Sedo.

Sedo will ban this and that based on what they view as controversial or TM. For instance, anything with the word Olympic(s) and Olympiad(s) are banned because apparently a company in Germany has a TM. Sedo also automatically places domains into an adult classification without any concrete reasoning. It is almost a nightmare to get it delisted as adult.

And I have never had anything banned on Bodis.

True, I try to stir controversy by blogging about how Yahoo is a nazi state. I hope they get crushed by Microsoft pronto.

xxosxx - I went ahead and submitted the domains to Yahoo. It usually takes about a week for them to make a decision.

I know why Yahoo in some cases does what they do, they think they should police where their clients get traffic from. Which I can understand in some cases. But they got a little carried away in many cases.

Acro - I really hope Microsoft kicks Yahoo's ass. US/CA will be done by October 30th. Oops. I probably wasn't supposed to say that date.

Donny, it's to your best interest to relay our displeasure to Yahoo. This is not fun and games anymore. If they can't treat domains equally then they are the biggest tech racist company on the planet.

The displeasure has been relayed not only to the little people at Yahoo, but also to some of the big people at Yahoo. I think Yahoo has too many lawyers who are involved in the decision making process. I can tell you from Parked we do block domains that are well known trademarks, we have been doing that for years. But Yahoo has gone way beyond what we do.

Donny, I feel your pain as the mediator in all this. But then again, why are you keeping Yahoo?
