So I was trying to renew a name at Moniker & register a new one - I tried to use my credit card on file 2x but got an error & noticed they weren't in the transactions so I thought I would try Paypal. I get the same error but see that Paypal did charge me for the registration/renewal even though the transaction didn't show up in my account nor are names registered/renewed. Was my credit card charged as well 2x prior? Am I being triple billed to boot?

OK - so I forward my Paypal email & the problems to [email protected] . I'm told to use the support portal to address the problem which is what I do. Guess what? That's right I get error messages using the Moniker support portal. I tried calling support & their support department isn't available apparently until tomorrow. So screw it - I'm going to complain here for my time already wasted. I've really been asking myself lately... how has Moniker/Snapnames helped me sell more names lately?

Anyway - Here is the error message at Moniker trying to register/renew names

--------------
Error Detected

•Error: java.sql.SQLException: Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.order_detail'.'in_order_detail_cd' in database 'moniker_V2' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

It's the java interface error could be because the database itself or your browser.
You should clear all the cache and log back in before the second try.
Moniker should detect the duplicated order and should not charge you more than once (if the programmer is smart!)

MONIKER IS DOWN FOR ME TOO. AGAIN!

Moniker isn't down, but their database is indeed producing this error when trying to authorize outgoing transfers:

Exception: [ ordererror : Error: java.sql.SQLException: Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.order_header'.'in_order_header_cd' in database 'moniker_V2' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.]

This has nothing to do with client-side (browser) java.

Just tried to make a simple DNS change and received the following error message:

"failed to update a domain in registry. java.sql.sqlexception: could not allocate space for object 'dbo.domain_h'.'pk_domain_h' in database 'moniker_v2' because the 'primary' filegroup is full. create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup."

Moniker's online customer support has also been completely non-existent for the last 2.5 weeks. Open help tickets not be answered or addressed at all. The registrar appears to be toast at this point.

I was caught in the registerfly issues years ago, transferred to moniker for the one reason that they claimed that they were the reliable registrar. Now I too am getting these errors that look like they ran out of disk space. This would be okay if it was fixed quickly, but I have been getting errors all day and cannot maintain my domains.

If they do not respond to my ticket within 24 hours then I will assume they are the next registerfly (registrar to slide downhill and then go out of business). Don't they have admins monitoring their system?

Server disk full indeed, and they don't seem to have monitoring tools in place.

Just got off the phone with Moniker & this what I was told.

- Transactions that were paid for via credit card/paypal & that you actually did not receive registration/renewal of those names will have the funds refunded either in paypal or credit card within the next 24 hours

- apparently the system is working fine now though there were server problems yesterday that caused this problem as well as the support portal to not work

Cool, happy to hear everything is working again. I wish Moniker would finally beef up their customer support, as I still love their interface and wide TLD choices. Customer service issues have been plaguing them for years, are they just not profitable enough to fix this main issue?

I still cannot UNLOCK and domains! Pretty frustrating and no one to contact. Do they now have a rep on here?

I want to transfer a few. I love GoDaddy more and more each day. Moniker are you reading this?

Week 3 rolling up and still my help ticket goes unanswered. It literally appears that they don't even have 1 customer service rep. I thought the new parent company was supposed to fix these long standing and constant customer service issues.

Does anyone know of a reliable registrar that offers a wide range of available TLD choices, including .pl? I need to finally break contact with Moniker, as years of this nonsense has run its course.

I like Dynadot.com and have had positive experiences and quick customer service there.

Do like me, use local registrars for ccTLDs. Yes, I know it's a lot of registrar accounts.
Besides, I think Moniker is a reseller of Key System for ccTLDs.

Well I didn't get the funds returned as promised so I had to call support again. The guy I talked to said he would create a support case # & if it wasn't resolved in another 24 hours to contact them again. I hate having my time wasted!!!

Recently had a domain transferring into Moniker but then had a problem and opened a ticket.-
- Guy who took care of it actually altered the domain name while looking into it.-

- Told them later and no one would own up to the error-. - Guy never replied and they said they'd be looking into it later which they didn't.Later gave up and canceled the transfer in.-
Someone else implied I didn't know what I was doing. - Am reconsidering having domains with Moniker. --

Well it did take me 3 support calls & opening a paypal dispute case (which Moniker originally responded incorrectly to) for me to resolve the issue. In addition when I called support tonight I was unable to log into my Moniker account - I was locked out. When I'm told 2x by Moniker on 2 seperate days my issue will be resolved within 24 hours & it isn't... it ticks me off.
