No time was added on the ones I was bidding on. I bid with about a minute and half remaining and it just continued to count down. That's my luck.

And does anyone know who lost their domains?

Time is only extended on sibername if you outbid the other person. That's why it is smart to make a bid in the last couple minutes for the amount you are actually willing to pay.

BTW - There is NO WAY Kevin Ham drops names.

So which one's already sold and for how much ? Also it appears many are not dropping at all. A little confused.

JP, What do you mean by not dropping? They all dropped already and most have already been picked up.

So did all drop and get bid on and end or did some go to registrars who held them for themselves ?

JP, it's too early to share. Maybe in private sometime.

TBR process is different at every registrar. At sibername you preorder the name and if they get it there is an auction (multiple bidders). At namespro you are bidding on a name before hand and the highest bidder on Wednesday gets the domain...IF it goes to that registrar.

Well there is a difference between what I'm willing to pay and what I want to pay!

That's true Roy...but the problem with sibername...is you can't go up slowly in increments because it won't change the amount of time left.

It does add 3 minutes every time a bid is made at the close time until 3 minutes go by without any bids.
So if you are in an auction there, the only reason you wouldn't win is if you stop bidding or the server messes up or your computer crashes(happened to me)

I placed bids on multiple domains with around 60 seconds to go and no extra time was added. It must be as mentioned earlier - the bids must exceed the maximum proxy placed in order to enact extra time being added.

It was working fine for me today and weeks past...
You have to be online...if you are out bid you place another higher bid and it then extends the time for 3 minutes each time until no more bids happen for 3 minutes at which time it closes.
I am talking about during the auction time Thursday...not on the wednesday which shuts down at 11 PST sharp.

Maybe we are talking about different functions....

No we seem to be talking of the same. I was watching them all morning this morning and waiting until the dying seconds to decide which few I wanted to target.

I could have sworn in the past I've seen as you describe, that's why I was amazed there was no extra time added. I haven't played the tbr for a while but couldn't resist all the good domains this week.
