Oh, how you must have been praying that NB not awake from his post New Year's slumber in time to contribute on the attacks on "your fearless leader".

Do I sense from you a somewhat defensive attitude, and inability to address the issue at hand?

Questions:

1. Do you agree that possibly not disclosing the beneficial ownership of a porn site name is a good practice?
2. Do you agree that vile profanity has its place is these forums?
3. Do you "value" the contributions of a member who spews such filth?

NB (Nota Bene) I haven't " critiqued your websites. Why are you sensitive to this issue? Now are you saying that the porn site restricted.com is in fact owned and operated by GeorgeK? Do you have some sort of inside knowledge on the matter?

Not for NB the delusions of grandeur, fueling the ego stroking, and somewhat odd whois records, and pronouncements of integrity, not to mention slanderous attacks on other's reputations and business ethics. We'll leave those traits to others ...

GregR, by not moderating the disgusting and profane statements posted by GeorgeK, you are explicitly condoning them! As the owner, you might as well be posting them in your own name! Is that the case? You can't have it both ways.

Maybe that's why Register.com didn't consider dnforums.com as the rightful custodian of the Afternic.com domain. I dare say, the "old" regime of moderators would not have allowed such filth to soil the good name (fast eroding no doubt) of dnforums! Something to think about!

GeorgeK, you'll notice that despite your profane attacks, you'll never get a rise from NB, your friend who wishes you no ill. Dignity dictates that I continue to turn the other cheek

And no, sad deluded, beachie, NameBox does not equal DnPowerful. And while, NameBox does not (unlike GeorgeK perhaps?) operate PORN sites, and therefore is not a pornographer (unlike some on these boards), DnPowerful does and has paid "up to $50K for domains".

That fact alone must really chew the heart out of GeorgeK! Could this explain the (possible) recent foray into pornography? Once again, the clarion call goes out - GeorgeK do you own and operate the porn site "restricted.com".

Simple Question mandates a Simple Answer, especially from someone who espouses honesty, integrity, clarity and transparency.

I have much respect for MattyP. As for Safesys - I have no comment at this time.

As far as the job we (the current crew) are doing - I think you will find we do indeed keep 99% of the "filth" off the site. The forum has grown at a faster than ever pace - and we are constantly given 'thumbs up' by our members for the job we do. That's a fact - and something we take pride in.

Now as far as this thread is concerned - it falls into the 'exception' category. We have found that on occasion there are some arguments and conflicts that are better left to be settled on their own. Oddly enough - they usually involve either You or DNPowerful VS. GeorgeK.

When we edit and delete - we are "Wrong" and "Dictators".

When we let things go - we are "Wrong" and "Allowing Filth".

No matter what we do - somebody is not going to be satisfied. So we have to try and be consistent - and please the majority. That's exactly what we do - and we do it quite well.

Please respect the fact that I have said nothing rude or negative to you. Please give me the same respect in return.
I realize that You - DNP and George are not on each others Christmas Card list. But until & unless Greg instructs us otherwise - we are not going to interfere with your spats. If we are wrong for that - fine. The number of times that we are 'right' however - will hopefully make up for it.

Having been a member of a few forums over the years I've seen this pattern many times before. It's actually really funny, to the extent you would almost think it's the same person. The ridiculously inept "Sean O'Kylfile" on usenet could be NameBox's twin.

There always seems to be a member who singles out another member to the point of obsession.

This protagonist is always completely anonymous (when most members aren't), and usually resorts to using a few sockpuppet identities.

He always tells us how wealthy and powerful he is, whilst the members who actually are wealthy or powerful never mention it.

He can only recognize his own faults in other people, and tells members they are "insecure".

He always (and this puzzles me) stereotypes people, and refers to their ethnicity. So far, NameBox has mentioned that George is Greek, I'm Australian, Greg and Popper are from Texas. Why?

He never answers direct questions, yet literally demands people to answer his. In fact, he will generate endless inane paragraphs without answering anything, assuming that other members will be distracted from the original question asked of him. We can all see that he is dodging the question because he's scared of the answer.

His weakness is that he always thinks he is winning, and even says so. My guess is that he believes everyone is in awe of his intelligence, when in fact we all think he's a rambling idiot.
