Have you refunded anyone with your 5700 yet you said to have in Paypal at the moment?

I know a lot of people in law, Patty. I suggest you not mess with me or my friends.

There are quite a few people ready to take this beyond the forums and into court. I suggest you make nice as fast as possible before they get their hands on their lawyers.

*tick * tock **tick * tock **tick * tock **tick * tock **tick * tock *

I can't sleep tonight, Patty. I am going to stay up with you in this thread and do whatever it takes to get you to do the right thing.

Edit: damn. She left at 03:32 AM. Right after I posted about the phone # on her blog.
Hmmm.

Patty , everything you are saying is inconsistent. You earlier claimed that your sedo account was hacked and that you cancelled it. This is on 18 may 2009.

18-05-2009 My sedo account has been hacked!

Ok.. I am better. I just canceled the damned thing.

thanks for the help.

So, how do you explain these domains with your whois comfortably parked in your sedo account .Look at the "Last update Date" , so that means your other thread was b*S. Didn't bother to look up a lot of domains , as most whois info is changed to someone else's.

Just tired and angry after you having wasted a lot of people's time including mine on the pretext of brokering domains. If you were a people pleaser then u wouldn't be wasting their time with excuses.

Also whatever amount you have taken from whomever , you should refund them. A simple phone call to paypal can do so very fast , even if "transaction is under review"

The sheer amount of the posts made by you makes it difficult for anyone dealing with you to even search much about the past... One can't read each and every post , else many of us would have been cautious earlier on with the dozens of posts you made referring to your account, computer, facebook hacked etc.

Wow, what a thread. Followed this last night, went to bed and have just finished reading up on the remaining 5 pages.

At first I thought this was simply a case of Patty being an attention seeker, and having a mental condition (I mean that in a nice way, not an insulting way) which causes her to make up lies to get pitty and attention.

I knew a guy once who would sometimes make up lies mid-way through conversation. Flat out lies. I knew him (and/or knew of him - we went to the same schools together, but were never 'friends') for a period of 4 years and he must have made up over 100 (relatively serious - as in, not minor/trivial) lies in that time. He seemed normal and nice enough, but it must have been some sort of attention seeking mental condition that caused him to be like this (I won't go into detail, but some of the lies were.. OTT.. to s that least). I *thought* this is what Patty had.

BUT having seen this:

That's clear proof of a scam. No domainer, even a newbie (which Patty supposedly isn't) could try and sell two LLL.coms (heck even one of that quality) for $5k total. To me, that's 100% fraud. Flat out fraud, and I'd hope to see a prosecution over it.

Sounds nasty, but even if all of this is just Patty's attention seeking to an extreme (which I doubt; there's too many people ripped off here), something needs to be done. Accepting $5k for two LLL.coms and taking $x,xxx off other people and then making up excuses isn't attention seeking to the extreme. To me, it's fraud.

A ban and legal recourse should be apt here.

G'morning everyone! Did I miss anything?
Erm, Patty couldn't reply since she was feeding sick children (or something like that). And also, despite her putting on the PayPal transaction "RNR.com and RZR.com", she never intended to sell more than RZR.com. Hmm, that's some great quality excuses (including accidentally typing two domains instead of one )

So yeah, more of the same really. But basically concrete proof (via the PayPal screeny) has been given to show this is fraud and not just naive business practise.

Wow, just finished reading through this rather long thread...

At some point biggie made a great post summing it all up: This wouldn't have happened if the victims had done a little research early on. Personally, I've never felt comfortable around member democrat given the many negative discussions involving her.

I remember she contacted me via PM in May 2009 after a post I made in the following thread, saying I should contact her if I ever "needed some insight":

http://www.dnforum.com/f31/there-such-thing-thread-356337.html

Funny thing to be offered insight from a new member and (as it seemed to me at least) unexperienced broker. It may have been a nice gesture, but I didn't respond, because I already knew about a few incidents where member democrat was surrounded by problems. You can be unlucky, but if you run into problems repeatedly and as often as democrat has done, there must be something wrong with the way you conduct business.

I have brokered domains on behalf of clients for some years before I scaled back in late 2007. I can sympathize with brokers who are not able to give credentials due to non-disclosure agreements, because I have brokered some nice sales myself which I couldn't disclose due to confidentiality. But if a broker, who clearly states on several occasions that he or she is "experienced", cannot come up with one single sale, that makes me suspicious.

Over the years -- older DNF members will agree with me on this -- you could see many new members come and go. Those who wanted to make it to the top too quickly often made promises they couldn't deliver on; they wanted to deal in the high end of the market without having the necessary experience. This can't go well, unless you're very lucky. The exact same aura of gold rush surrounded democrat most of the time.

I cannot and do not want to judge her being a scammer or not, because I know too little about the issues at hand. But I do think she needs to work on the way she does business. There are usually enough warning signs to tip you off before doing business with a member on DNF you do not know yet. Just do a little research or take your time to form an educated opinion.

Democrat's behavior shows consistency with regards to:

Engaging into financial transactions that get locked unresolved.
Non-payment for projects.
Excuses beyond the realm of business-like behavior.
Inventing and maintaining another "party" who does all that she was caught for in the past.

Is she a great manipulator of words and people? Of course. I did her twitter background for free and defended her on other threads where she claimed she was being harassed by clients.

And happy Saturday reading. - a similar DNForum saga.

Rather busy thread.. Interesting read.

Always be cautious if someone asks for help too much, too often. Sometimes a person needs to pull themself up out of the hole they have dug. They will be a better person for it. Good luck Patty! Time to tighten up & come clean.

After reading through the complete 5 pages of the comments, i will like to share that I have this 1 way link service(as my signature for one way link) . Patty contacted me to take my services (which I still have saved)and mentioned she is short of funds, or she requires fund for her project or she will pay me later and even that she will pay me $xxx on top some time later... check these PMs
In Reply to your Post [post=1691088]One way, Inbound Links of your website to 237 mini-websites![/post]:

Hey, we would like that for our site: TonyFloyd and I are working a project. I can pay you next weds if you are willing to take this on.

Thanks!
Well at hand, I have:
silkydress.com
communicatingskills.com
livingwithme.com
loansoncartitles.com
soundersmls.com

Let's do three months, I'll add more later.. Yet those are what need to start at first. Your first paycheck will be via paypal or payment processor of your choice next week on Friday. Then every two weeks after that.

Patty
How about I send you 100 dollars next Friday for the entire package including 10-15 more on top of the ones I have coming.
I kept adding the links till I realized..................... :(

I might be mixing the things , but what i wanted to mention was that in deals like on this forum, the intention and the committment counts a lot!

I never received money, which is ok for me but in my subconsious mind, it created a void space with a No Entry board to her again!

Guys , just one thing ...remove yourself from the friend list or atleast approve a "friend" if you either know them personally / met in person / extremely trusted /known for a couple of years .

What usually happens is that before dealing with anyone , we usually check out profile etc. well ranked forum members , couple of recent posts ( the sheer no. of all the posts; one really can't go through them ) , people backing up etc.

As these 2-3 things seem fine , many people unintentionally become victims of these smart-talking schemers .

If I disregarded all of the posts of those who are out cash and just read Pattys own words here and those posts she made that other linked to, I would still see a major fraud unfolding. How some of you can say she just has poor business practices is beyond my comprehension. A total lack of morals and ethics is what is causing her/his poor business practices, not errors in judgement or mistakes! And for all of the frauds you see here, my money says there are many, many more not discussed here.

Your time equals money and unless you agree to render your services for free you should feel worthy of your work. In this case, you were sweet-talked into the same bullsh!t "I'll pay you next Friday" talk that others mentioned.

I had IGNORED Democrat few months back cuz she offered to develop an auction platform for my recently launched project and I was kind of astonished at receiving mid to high $xxxx quote from her when I had specifically mentioned looking for inexpensive quotes to do sedo auction platform clone in my Help Wanted Thread. So I got back to her with a response: that i have gotten mis $xxx quotes for the same project.
She went balistic at the response, with namecalling plus what not cheap comments. I finnally asked her to "psis off" and thre her into my ignore bin.

She's a rude person, full of ugly attitude to deal with and with so much against her.. Ban is your best bet!
