Really the only domain registrar I use is GoDaddy. Who else uses GoDaddy? Either once in a while or quite often.

I always transfer away from them. They even have the 60 day rule, unbeliveble.

I just dont like them at all. You have to go through about 6 pages just to register a single domain, and they charge you if your whois is even slightly wrong. And dont get me started on that 60 day rule EVEN STARTS AGAIN ON AN ACCOUNT PUSH.

Godaddy to me are like the Microsoft of domain names.

I have never had any problems AT ALL with GoDaddy. No extra charges, and if you dont like them trying to sell you stuff when you want to buy a domain, you can choose to skip it all.

And Mike, I was just trying to get this part of the forum going. No need to be a jerk to me.

hehe, i wasn't trying to attack you my friend.. your post just didn't make much sense to me at first... but anyways, godaddy is a great registrar -- i have a lot of domains with them and they most certainly are one of the more professional and friendliest registrar around.

ok mike :)

i have been using godaddy for about 3-4 years. i have had over 100 domains at a time with them and no problems ever. so i dont know why people are experiencing any problems, maybe they just dont know how to keep themselves in the clear :)

i have 2 names at gd and one at a reseller that i bought, but did not know that there is a 60 day rule on pushes. As soon as I can, I will transfer either to my birdiebiz.com or to namecheap.com.

I find godaddy good and bad.

At the moment they are quite a bit more good than bad for me. Excellent personal support as I have enough names to have my account manager.

I hate the slow-loading multiple pages to get things done.

I have used Goddy for years now and I've enjoyed so much the quality of their services that I consolidated my domains and moved them to GD. Granted, going through 6 pages to register is no fun, but a tiny tiny price to pay for what you get in return.

Ive used Godaddy from the get go and have found their customer service top notch when Ive required them. I think its worthwhile paying that little bit extra so I can consolidate all my domains into the one account to make things a bit easier.

More like they have the president with the world's most bloated ego.

I say "NoDaddy".
