Go Daddy is huge now. So don't expect much personal service if you have an urgent/ special need.
I only have a dozen or so names at GoDaddy.
I get treated like royalty at Moniker, so most of my domains are there.

I think everybody agrees and understands that a domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or registrar transfer, as is outlined at the above link. What is not 100% clear, perhaps, from this document is the definition of the phrase "after being transferred" in bold above. While any reasonable person would correctly interpret by context that this refers to "after a registrar transfer" (I believe this would be the definition upheld in arbitration), perhaps Godaddy in their infinite wisdom has taken this to mean "after a registrant transfer", or more specifically, "after any change of registrant information". (I know, this is quite a long-shot)The Registrar of Record may deny a transfer request only in the following specific instances:
...
8. A domain name is in the first 60 days of an initial registration period.
9. A domain name is within 60 days (or a lesser period to be determined) after being transferred (apart from being transferred back to the original Registrar in cases where both Registrars so agree and/or where a decision in the dispute resolution process so directs).
