Ok, I'm bending the rules here but had to share this with Canadians who would understand, especially in BC.

Just hand regged North Vancouver (.)biz today.

Seems it had dropped in Jan, I know, I know, it's a .biz, but fifth largest city in BC and right beside Vancouver...

also got: Maple Ridge Real Estate (.)ca

ok, one more, hand regged: Port Moody (.)info

Seems to be a bunch of people from the lower mainland here, we should get together for a beer on the weekend. I'm in Burnaby. How about you Whitebark?

Hi David

I've meet with DropWizard.com once already - he's in Langley and I'm in Abbotsford. We tossed about a meeting. There are lots of us out here to be sure. I was thinking the arsehole of the lower mainland - New Westminster - because it's in the middle for everyone! LOL

I'll start a thread and see what interest comes forth. :eek:k:

Hi Whitebark, I'm sure namefox would come too. Let me know where the thread will be. New Westminster is perfect for me but I can go pretty much anywhere.

I found an LLLL.org that the acronym has over 30,000 Google hits. The full phrase has over 5 million.

I regged & parked it 2 days ago, already 10 hits. :)

I don't know, I didn't look since I'm only Canadian by heritage, not location and where I was born. :)

Edit: Chances are Adam owns it.

DOH! Once again I failed to read which forum the post was in in the "unread posts" search. My apologies! :caked:

Hi jaydup, I got 1-800(ca) last week and really don't have anything to do with it. If you like those 800 domains let me know, maybe we could make an exchange.

I reg'd and developed 1800canada and it gets pretty decent search traffic- people looking for 1800 directory numbers. I'm sort of wasting that traffic with just a directory on there but as directories go it gets far more traffic than most of them.

jaydub - are you hoping to cash in on the closeness of Canada and the UK?

I fresh registered another 40 last night. My fav - even if other extensions are not taken - canadiancompany dot ca. One with a couple visitors already - automatictransmission.ca. ET owns the plural.

I looked hard for single word ones - and while there are a lot of them left, most don't suit my fancy, nor do they seem to command any real search value. There are also plenty of plural and past/post tense ones available, but again, I have trouble seeing the value/development future in most of these.

Pickings are getting slimmer by the day. 969,028 - that's the total .ca's regged as of this moment. On December 26 the number was 930,096! One million by end of May for sure!
