I'm the same.. It's too much hassle moving domains around from place to place, so I tend to stick with where they are.. but Sedo has got worse and are not improving any... I have a domain there with a keyword that is listed in overture of $1.50 + but sedo are paying me 9 cents... Something wrong there

I did just move away a bunch of domains to see how they perform elsewhere, depending on how much you make you always gotta test out other parking companies from time to time, because if you wanna change something at your current parking provider the only way for them to make changes that are good for us is to move away some domains, complaining is usually not as effective as taking action, thats like complaining about the government for four years and voting the same way again come election time..

I can confirm Sedo stats right now are not counting as they should. My top domain has been CLOCK-PERFECT for 2 years now in hits/clicks/ratio (forget revenue) and today it was at 30% less! Plus anyone hear or saw anything from Sedo about compensation for 9/1 ? That's when their servers supposedly worked fine while stats didn't but revenue ended up being 50% down.

Yeah, another record low today, in the middle of the week!! actually today's revenue is worse than a weekend day since the new google feed. My epc went up a little but my clicks ctr tanked.

I am glad someone else replicates my findings. Well, "glad" is not the right word but you know what I mean.

I argee with you, my CTR started to drop significantly on sept1, it looked to me they implemented some filter or something because many clicks werent counted while the hits were still showing, I emailed them asking what kind of thing they implemented, but instead of an answer at least the thing that was changed on sep 1st turned back to normal on sept.4 or 5th or so..I think we are dealing with two different issues here, not just the CPC change

Our new system is a diffciult transition period for many of you - I completely understand that this is not easy. Please try to keep just some of the main advantages in mind:
- vastly expanded range of keywords: the range of keywords, which are correctly and well paid is broader than ever before. Now is the time to try new keywords and use the keyword optimization tips.
- flexible and dynamic pricing: no longer will the stats bar be frustratingly static!
- exact and precise stats: EPC is calculated on a per-domain basis, meaning good commercial domains will be rewarded!
- optimization is easier: more keywords pay well
- new statistics: cutting-edge stats and comprehensive reporting gives you more information on your domains, making them easier for you to evaluate sales prices and also to optimize
- new layouts: great new layouts, with 250 pictures to choose from mean increased CTR for you. The lite layout in particular, closely followed by the customizable retro purple layout have shown major CTR increases in our tests.

Best wishes,
Your Sedo Team

Just curious, if Sedo officials will ever comment my case, when 1/2 of the clicks and visitors were, let's say, cut down -- on a just added, 100% type-in traffic domain (see my posts above).

What the **** is acorn domains and why isn't Sedo announcing ANYTHING on major public forums such as DNF?

Sedo's promises remind me that of politicians right before election time.

Incidentally, I project today's earnings to be at 80% - 90% of yesterday's disaster.

It makes sense when the promises are before an election

This is after, so I don't understand how they can post this BS when all we need to do is login to our accounts to see rev going down the drain.

Be nice! Acorndomains.co.uk is the #1 domain forum for UK domainers! DNF is not the only domain where domaining occurs.

Oh I am sorry that I don't share tea and crumpets talking over obscure .co.uk domains and the Empire.

Seriously, DNF *is* the most reknowned domain name forum - Sedo's absense from the current discussions is striking.

Yes, obviously my frustration is multiplied by Sedo's silence and cookie-cutter responses.

SEDO has nothing to say since they are not going to do anything about it maybe? I doubt they will go back to the other feed since they probably planned forever for this one. If they have decided to take a BIGGER cut than before and tweak the stats, then i doubt they will admit to it or change it back. not after their income increase XX% or xxx% after the change.

Good riddance Turnic, noone forces you to troll DNF threads as you've repeatedly done in the past.

The clock is ticking, Sedo. Tomorrow is Friday - sitting on the subject instead of facing the music won't earn you our silence.

Did all you guys ever think that maybe it's the Google feed which is way down and not Sedo taking a larger share as you all seem to suspect. It seems to me Sedo would not do that and end up losing lots of parking business and needing to be real defensive and subject to anger.

I do not use Sedo or do much parking anywhere else but I have observed Adsense income and stats are recently down significantly (YPN has also declined a lot lately). In fact, a few days ago was the worst day since April in one regard, and poorest day in a very long 1-1/2 yrs involving a different statistic.

Do you work for Sedo? :loco:

I have domains spread over all the major parking programs but only Sedo consistently under perform compared to the others.. which also use google feeds.

I'm also aware that YPN has dropped considerably over the past 6 months, but it's a consistent drop, which is being reflected across all YPN PPC feeds..

The inconsistencies come when you compare google feeds against Sedo.. Not to mention the traffic that Sedo skim from domains..

My domains are effectively in transit on a constant basis as I test them throughout the market.. So I like to leave some at Sedo as a tester, in the hope that they might actually be able to compete at some point. I'm not making a public complaint to change the business practise of Sedo, I'm simply stating my experience with Sedo, and so far it's not a good one. But I will continue to keep at least some domains there, as I'm sure most others do.
