It was me that asked if you worked there!!!! It was a tongue in cheek question but now I'm not too sure...
And this post just confirms my suspicions....
If you do not use Sedo then why get involved in this thread in the first place...
Keep your educated guesses to yourself and let us folks that actually have an interest in Sedo deal with the current situation... (the one between us and Sedo)
Yes, it is an educated guess but could be correct information. Perhaps the member from Sedo may not know the cause himself.
Ask yourself this question, if they were paying artificial epc keyword values in the past (possibly higher than Google Adsense pays) but are now paying specific keyword values coming direct from the Google feed (which is on the decline itself) does it not make sense the stats from Sedo would be declining too? Just in the past week there have been serious YPN and Adsense declines and been going on for even longer.
Plus, you guys keep talking about Overture being higher keyword values than you get at Sedo but that is not relevant since that is a much different company and not connected to Google or Sedo, right.
Some of you also complain about traffic impressions being lower too but different firms evaluate traffic quite differently. I know Google is extremely conservative and often reports less traffic than 3rd party stats would indicate. For example, in the past Google did not count error code 302 and redirected traffic at all but programs such as Weblizer and others did count it. There can also be wide differenes between traffic reports comparing YPN vs Google vs other places based on how they evaluate the traffic as being unique or not.
