once again, you don't understand my posts. perhaps you should
stay in school a little longer and learn a bit more English.

every time i post something you jump in and make a stupid
reply, and then 4 posts later, after i explain in baby terms what
i'm saying, you finally understand what my original post was about.

read my POSTS 10 times next time before you hit the reply button
as it seems you don't understand a word of what i'm writing.

I understand what you are saying, I just cannot understand why you think anyone should use the same strategy? Snapcheck.com owner should shut down his proffitable site, no one should tralk about pool.com and other drop clubs and no one should bid on pool or NW before the last second...
I cannot understand this but never mind.

there seems to be an overall misunderstanding on the entire
pool/strategy issue. i think this can be cleared up if you reread all
of my post. you're letting the matter go, so no point in dragging this any further.

as far as snapcheck, i was just voicing my opinion (in a completely
different thread). profitable site? hmm. i maybe but i doubt that. from
my experience (and from talking to other pool affiliates) no one
saw a penny from them yet.

of course. i may be wrong...

Luc, is the reason you're complaining about safe.net soaring to $950 early on due in part to your vested interested in the security software business? Hell, I think maybe I should just bid up this name to 10k and sell it to you for a tidy sum. ...how high will we go.

kjohar. let's get one thing straight.

i want the name. what i'll use it for should be none of your
concern. i've made it MORE THAN OBVIOUS by mentioning
all throughout the thread that i'm very interested in it.

i've got a max price i'm willing to put on it. if i ever develop it
into something is my business. if it goes over my limit, i have
absolutely no problem letting it go.

now, all things considered, wouldn't it be WISE to spend the
least on a domain name? the object of the game is to BUY
low and SELL high, no? what's wrong with me discussing
unintelligent bidding strategies by some of the domain newbies.

your post doesn't seem to make any sense. why would i care
about you bidding $10k or $100k? my replies were aimed at
those who bid way too early, what's this have to do with you?
why are you coming into this thread? i know you didn't bid
early on this one, you don't like overpaying.

let me give you an example of what i'm talking about.

sanatorium.com, caught by pool 3 days ago. was at about $300
for the 3 days. auction was over today, last 25 minutes price
jumped to $3k+. this is how its done.

ehh. this will be a long thread.

sure thing Luc.....all I'm saying is that this is your one shot at a name which is worth atleast 100k+ to you. Let's hope you get it.

One thing is for sure, with the bids on .NET names getting up there, that means that anybody with short, one word, sensible .NETs names are going to be golden in the next year. :bandit:

Example: Sweeper.net went for $2051

I don't get your point DR, I believe the final bid would be over $2500 for sure, with or without my $950 bid, there are dozens of bidders dying for this one, so when the bid reaches $1k simply makes no difference at all.

Sheds.net $2050
Jogs.net $6.95

Safe.net is definitely a prime piece of Internet realestate but should not be worth 6 figures to anyone!

Internet.net sold for $10,000 recently to a member of the DNforum and is a better name in my opinion.

Like Luc I have my number and I will put it up there when the time is right. I hope it's the highest one!

If I were you, I'd prepare for the $$ it's gonna cost in stead of firing at others in panic.

"anybody with short, one word, sensible .NETs names are going to be golden in the next year" Bob

Bob, I hope so. But, there are no guarantees.

There were a lot of people that thought Lucent Technology shares would go for hundreds of dollars when the price was at $ 90. Today, it is under $ 3.00

The minute you think something is going to go up, up, and up in value. Is when it will turn on you.

I am not saying domains are not going to go up in value. But, you never know when you are at the top of the cycle!

i agree, but with a domain like this, you're safe no matter what
happens. incredible market potential, so many uses. as long as
you don't overspend, a name like this is almost as good as a
brick of gold.

<cracks knuckles> good show. $5900 now.
