Got a few decent names today, but narrowly missed getting an auction name which I really really wanted - I'm curious to see who the winner turns out to be. Looks like I'll be rubbing elbows with several of you at the pool auctions (I'm in 9).
Do people really use scripts for bidding? I've been curious about that possiblity, but I always imagine the terrifying scenario of a bug in the code adding on an extra zero or two by accident
Instead, I'm one of those people who tends to bid late in the auction manually, but I've been bitten numerous times doing that - lost internet connections, poor timing and such.
I think it'd be interesting to see a TBR auction with a completely blind bid where the domain went to highest bidder pre-drop - but where they publish all bids after the auction is over so you adjust strategy for next time around.
And to those using a script to run your auctions on namespro/sibername - beat yah today!
