I know steriods.ca is mispelled. Hoping for the best with it I suppose.

Q. Do you think the .ca extension will heat up and eventually take off with sales? What do you think will happen that will spike .ca into life?

A. In my opinion over the last few years .ca has become quite recognised. It's actually beginning to become a major player now which is something that's taken some time but for some reason the majority of Canadian business (End User) seem to really prefer .ca over .com and my guess is it's a Pride thing. As for sales this last two years has been huge in terms of sales profit for most .ca sales as opposed to the years prior. The market is indeed growing. Traffic to a .ca name generally takes a bit of work but it can be done and is generally stable once established at least in my experiences.

I picked up 2 .ca typos a little while back... vanoe.ca and sqaush.ca... sqaush.ca does not get any traffic and vanoe.ca gets about 1 type-in a day, so not a lot happening with these typos... hopefully steriods will do a little better for you...

Alot of my .ca's I've grabbed for development purposes but a few will be sold if the offer is alright in future.
I believe I'll be spending alot of time with .ca's from now on rather than other ext.
I agree 100% this is the exact same strategy that I have right now, I am trying to move most of my domains except my .ca...

I think that .ca will only get stronger.

I agree. The most exciting one I believe to develop on this end is newsbc.ca
Although most of my other ext see traffic I'm going to primarily stick to my own country with development.

None of them were for me but for an old friend I might add. I am going to help her develop them.

Well, best wishes to anyone in this .CA world... it's getting only warmer... global warming the reason?? LOL

I also got Twitter.ca a little while ago...

So you got twitter, I checked it a short while back when it was in the news. That one might pay off nicely for you, especially since it's a dictionary word. I joined twitter and got two nice usernames for me and my wife, 'vancouver' and 'toronto'.

hehe yeah, I think I lucked out a bit on this one... I am contemplating whether or not I should develop it as a bird-watching site or leave it parked... well, I have so many names on the list to be developed it will stay parked for a while anyway...

Once again I was away for the auction close. Pool_1481 did ok on a couple other auctions (e.g. bikeshop.ca for $210). But the big news of the day was sellit.ca that went for $US 1,600. Pool_1481 wasn't even in the auction for it from what I saw. Looks like it was a serious two-bidder battle from $215 upwards.

Wow, thanks for the info.. sellit.ca for some reason was attracting some interest the other day.. so looks like it was a new person altogether. Good.. and thanks so much for the info again.

There were some decent names that dropped today, i bid on a few the first time after watching .ca for a while and was highest bidder on sibername but how long does it take to know if they got them or not?

Thanks for everyone who updated about the Sibername issue. However, I could not see the normal page today, where you could see the bids. It was so much different today.

Yes, HB.CA is possible for the person who got HB.ON.CA.

Congratulations to all who won today and those who are in the auctions. I am sure there will be some, although I think the winner for today was the HB.On.Ca owner!!!
