I know steriods.ca is mispelled. Hoping for the best with it I suppose.
Q. Do you think the .ca extension will heat up and eventually take off with sales? What do you think will happen that will spike .ca into life?
A. In my opinion over the last few years .ca has become quite recognised. It's actually beginning to become a major player now which is something that's taken some time but for some reason the majority of Canadian business (End User) seem to really prefer .ca over .com and my guess is it's a Pride thing. As for sales this last two years has been huge in terms of sales profit for most .ca sales as opposed to the years prior. The market is indeed growing. Traffic to a .ca name generally takes a bit of work but it can be done and is generally stable once established at least in my experiences.
I picked up 2 .ca typos a little while back... vanoe.ca and sqaush.ca... sqaush.ca does not get any traffic and vanoe.ca gets about 1 type-in a day, so not a lot happening with these typos... hopefully steriods will do a little better for you...
I agree 100% this is the exact same strategy that I have right now, I am trying to move most of my domains except my .ca...Alot of my .ca's I've grabbed for development purposes but a few will be sold if the offer is alright in future.
I believe I'll be spending alot of time with .ca's from now on rather than other ext.
I think that .ca will only get stronger.
