The domainer is not responsible for conversion. There is no clause in the agreement which states that your domains must convert. I am sure Parked has their reason to suspend accounts. But they don't have to wait 30 days and $5000 in account balances to discover and determine if traffic, conversion was fraudulent or poor for that matter.
All in all I am through with the parking industry. When they provide stats, how are we to know if that is accurate. We take their word for it, don't we?
There has to be a better way........
I have to hand it to you Zojila, this is the one post I think we can agree on.
A year and a half ago I had much different opinion when someone started a thread like "PPC Account suspended WTF!" I was really harsh on the fraudsters then and very anti-click fraud, I still am but to a much lesser degree. When you get burned by a PPC provider for a few thousand dollars like I did, and all you have is there word that traffic did not convert or was suspicious, you will get a real awakening believe me!. We all know that click fraud exists, but so does fraud from PPC providers that keep all your money and use click fraud as a false excuse, certainly there are cheaters & scammers, and a large percentage of them are caught, but what about the small percentage that had there accounts terminated wrongfully and money stolen out from under them? anyone that believes this cant happen is living in the world of OZ.
I have a 5 year parking history with 4 major PPC providers, and NEVER been accused of any wrong doing, my problem came when I signed up with a different provider for 3 months, and was labeled a "Fraudster" on the very day I inquired about my payment being late!. Hey, my mistake for signing up with a Parking service that uses a PO Box for a mailing address, doesn't answer his phone and appears to be operating out of his home..not naming who, when I obtain a judgment against him I'll let you know. I will tell you that its NOT Parked.com, my account is still pretty new there, so I have nothing to say about them, accept that there customer support has been excellent up to this point.
I think as domainers, we put way to much trust in PPC providers, we allow them to control Hundreds, Thousands or Tens of thousands of OUR dollars with absolutely no regulation, no background check, nobody to answer too, not to mention the TOS we agreed to that nobody bothers to read!
I'm not defending the obvious scammers in this thread, but there's a flip side, and I think we all need to be aware of it.
