just discovered this thread - and realize that I am not alone !
I've been chasing this guy for 4 month now. I was naive (and stupid ) enough to pay him an "upfront" commission of $300 for selling a domain for me (
which he never did..)
he promised to refund that "commission" within 3 days....and its been about 4 months now that I've been chasing him for the money he stole. During that time he's been offering lots of other "sweet deals" - buying other domains, making him loans, being partner with him - luckily I did not fall into those traps and did not lose more money to this lier. He keeps emailing me all kind of excuses similar to those he sends other members here.
I cannot understand why would DF would still allow Greg Williamson be here and steal other member's money.
here are some "choice emails" correspondence with scammer Navpros:

Eli,
I am needing the $2K funds to put towards a domain purchase. What I am telling you is that not only will I agree to send you back $2500.00 in 10 business days for the loan, but will toss a domain deal or two your way if you want to submit offers for them and you would not owe me any commissions for those deals. They would be your. In any event, you loan me the $2K that I need to close my deal, and I send you $2500 back. If you can't do it, that's fine, but just thought $500 would be a fair trade considering. Let me know.

I trusted you when paying those $300 based on your written promise to return it if you dont sell the domain. I paid you based on your lies and misrepresentations . You were never in a position to buy that domain and the previous owner confirmed to me that you are a lier.
I really don't like wasting my time on scammers such as yourself - people that do not honor their own words and promises. Where is the "buyer" that supposedly transferred $2000 to my paypal a week ago?
I just wonder how can a person lie for so long and still be in business...
If I do not see $300 in my paypal account within 48 hours - I will post your scam with all details in tis and other forums, so that other members are aware of your conduct.

Good Morning Eli,
I want to take the time to run a proposition by you for consideration. I am in need of some financial help purchasing a domain name. I am $2,000.00 short of having the funds in my PayPal Account to cover the purchase of the domain name.
If an agreement can be reached, I will guarantee you a payback of 125% of the loan advance within the next 14 business days. This is a great traffic domain name, however, I just don't have all of the funds right now to cover the purchase and was wondering if you might be in a position to assist. I estimate that the PPC Revenue from domain alone could very well be near $100+ per day.
This could be a very lucrative opportunity for you! If you could float me the $2K needed to
[email protected] via PayPal, I will guarantee you a return of $2500.00 and of course, the $300 that I currently owe you for the Rankin County Deal within the next 14 business days.
By the way, I sent you an email in reference to the county domains. Page from DNforum.com asked me about the domains and I provided you with her address. Were you able to get hold of her?
In any event, thanks in advance for the consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Gregory S. Williamson

You will receive the payment later this evening or tomorrow at the very latest. I assure you. By the way, let me know if you have anything else for sale in the way of county domains or especially city domains?

Eli. Call me please? I want to talk to you about this. I sincerely hope that we can work something out. I have been without power and internet for several days due to Gustav. I hope you haven't tarnished my reputation in the forum and will do whatever it takes to make this right with you. I'm just going through a very difficult time right now. I'm not using this as an excuse, I realize I owe you money, and want to work this out. I have some traffic domains that make revenue. Perhaps I could give you one or two of those for the time being? Call me and let's discuss this by phone?

Eli. Lord as my witness, I have not received a payment request from you. Send it to me to
[email protected] and I will take care of it. I have a couple myspace typo domains you can have also which get some traffic. One of them made a little over a buck yesterday. no charge for them if you want them. Just let me know. I'll be back in the office at some point later this evening to process your request.

Eli, I sent you an email asking you to send me a money request via Paypal. I am going to send back the 300.00. Despite what you might believe, (and I don't blame you), I'm a good person and I will get you the 300.00 back plus the 2K for the rankincounty domains. It's just been a very rough time lately and I haven't had a lot of time to focus on work and the business at hand. Not sure if I mentioned it to you or not, but my son's home was recently burned to the ground from what the Fire Marshall said appeared to have been a theft. The burglars took what they wanted and set his home ablaze. That and the health of my mother with having to take her back and forth for cancer treatment has taken a toll on me both mentally and physically. If you'll send the money request, I will take care of the payment. To make this up to you, I'll even toss in a traffic name or two for you at no cost. I realize I am in the wrong here and will do what it takes to make things right by you. In any event, I look forward to hearing from you.

Eli. Got your email. Sorry for the delayed reply. have been out of pocket
tending to my mother. She has terminal cancer, so we're doing all we can
to make her comfortable. I'll do my best to return your funds to you
today, however, it may be tomorrow at the latest. As soon as I'm near a
PC, it will be done.

Eli. My number is 318-680-3229. If you can't call, that's fine, but email me and let's work something out today please. I am as ready as you are to put this behind us. And Lord as my witness, when this is settled, I will do my best to find you a great traffic domain name at no cost to you whatsoever. Honestly man, I had some cardiac problems and do not have health insurance and the bills are eating me alive. Not your problem, and I realize that, but I just want you to know that I am ready to work this out no matter what it takes. You are right in this situation and I am wrong, and I am so sorry for all of this

Hi Eli,
Sorry my friend, I have been out of pocket for some time. My ex wife and my son Ethan's home was burglarized and set on fire. They lost everything that they had and I have been away trying to help the two of them reorganize their lives. I just found all of your emails in my spam folder!
Send me an email to
[email protected]. I will add you to my safe senders list and get this all sorted out with you.
Thanks
Greg Williamson
